I'm 50 years old, and couldn't walk for a year because of a leg and knee injury. In my youth i did a lot of competitieve bmx and motocross races. Later in life I partied a lot and became a hardcore drug user. Because of you guys I chalenged myself, and now in my 50's, I can walk and ride a mountainbike almost every day:) Not a skater but I Love the show, THANKS..

I am enjoying skateboarding today at 49 more than I did at 25 years old.
Although today I try not to get over motivated because the slams realy hurt.

Just wanted to say thank you guys. I’m 30 and I watch your podcast every week. I decided to learn to skate and built my first board last month, learned how to cruise, did my first stationary ollie last week and hit one while moving yesterday. It’s been the happiest I’ve been since being trapped by adulthood so, again, thanks a ton.

My 6 yo son got into skateboarding about a year ago. Around that time TH-cam recommended this podcast and it's everything I didn't know I wanted
I actually just stopped skating a board I got signed by Colin McKay, Brian wenning, and Josh Kalis. Didn't have money for a new one and you guys got me itching to skate again. Keep going guys cause this podcast is one of the most entertaining things in the skateboarding.

I've been a huge Fan of Tony Hawk for as long as I can remember. I used to skate back in Middle school and Highschool, but it's been pretty long since I've jumped on a board. My Dads been watching HawkvsWolf podcast for about a year now. He's actually the one who got me to start listening to you guys.
True story
Before I was born My Mom was trying to figure out what she was going to name me at the hospital. So she picked up a magazine and flipped through the pages and saw a picture of "Tony Hawk" skating And knew that was the perfect name. Tony Hawk has been my idol literally since day one. So to win this skateboard would be a dream come true!!!
Quickly becoming one of my most anticipated podcasts. You guys are great as a team.

Hey Tony. I read your autobiography almost 20 years ago... Rodneys too. You guys were my heros in the early days of skateboarding, I spent a lot of time learning mutt flips on a mini ramp. I stopped skating about 10 years ago after a good friend of mine passed away. I have been listening to the podcast for a few weeks now. You and Jason have a solid dynamic that is really fun to listen to. Motivated from all the good memories you brought back, I went to my local skateshop and put together a new board. Looking forward to getting some of my old tricks back.
Listening to this makes me so stoked to keep skating. Helps me remember that the important thing is to enjoy it: not to focus on how much I want to learn, but what I get out of skating!

Love the podcast here every week. I just wanted to let Tony Know... In like 1986, when i was 10 years old, he was best skater in the world and cool as shit. Coming up on 40 years, still known as the greatest skater ever, and entertaining me ever since. From Videos, Games, TV-Shows, Sirius, Twitter, Podcasts. Still top of your game! Honestly, my comment over there was more of a half-hearted joke about us old guys still skating vert and "everything counts!" haha. I knew what you meant at the time but was more pointing it out so you'd see how it came off and could clarify for many folks who might not have gotten your intent. Thanks again and thanks for allowing us "on the sidelines" to watch you climb back up to the top of your game once more. It is inspiring. BILL DORE !!!!! LEGENDARY !!!!! I Tell people about him but i couldn't remember his last name. thank you for mentioning. Bill Dore showed us that skateboarding had no age limit. Ripping at the upland combi in his 60's at least.

I Love the show, Hats off to Hawk and Wolf..It makes me wanna skate again but with my hip dysplasia at 53 i use a Go Trak electric scooter covered in D.R.I. etc stickers and i groove around east Toronto gives me a feeling like skating but its NOT the same. I can say the scooter is perfect for an old BMX/skater that can't use a board. I live vicariously thru the older Pro's.

Me and my friend still pack poppers while driving, LIVING ON THE EDGE! plus I want to better myself by learning to skateboard like Tito Bobby instead of just getting high.

I can't remember whom but I remember they were a comedian I listened to on YT years ago and they something about the necessity of hecklers. They said something along the line or the idea was that it helps keep your axe sharp. I imagine improv would be the same way.
