    With Rean gone it on everyone's favourite pink haired tomboy to call out (and motivate) old Class VII with a rousing speech!

    Love this moment. Perfect culmination of Juna's growth due to her time in Class 7. I'd love a game with Juna as the new protagonist, leading her own SSS platoon, and giving her squad the same wisdom and lessons Rean taught her

      That would be perfect. She should lead the Junior SSS! (Momo, Anri and Ryu)

      I would rather see her as a bracer.
      Being a member of the SSS would restrict her being only relevant in Crossbell.
      And the SSS was modeled after the bracers modus operandi.
      In addition making her a police officer (which the SSS essentially are) would feel like taking a step backwards from her character development (just my opinion).
      Also, i get the feeling that Juna became the character most irritated with Campanella and wanting to wipe that stupid grin of his personally. I dont see them clashing again with her being stuck in Crossbell.

    This has got to be one of Erika Harlacher's (Juna's VA) greatest performance to date. She gives 100% in all of her VA roles, but this scene and the scene where Juna breaks down at Rean in CSIII really moved me.

      Yeah, she definitely knocked it outta the park. I like to think of Cold Steel 3 and 4 as Juna's story, much like 1 and 2 was Rean's story about them growing into leaders for their respective classes. Now, yes, Rean's the centerpiece for this arc and Class VII as a whole, but for Cold Steel 3 and 4, Juna felt more like a protagonist in these games, because she had a clear cut goal and reason for wanting to achieve it, but because of the hardship of Crossbell being under Erebonia's thumb and her being forced to transfer to Thors just to keep what credits she had left from the Crossbell Police Academy

      Given everything that they went through, it made sense that New Class VII would be the ones to snap old Class VII out of their depression, not to mention that it was Rean's message to Juna which caused her to snap out of her depression in Crossbell too

      @@fierytigergaming8112 I'm imagining Juna as a second year to be more entrusted with leading Class VII when Rean's not around, and inheriting his wisdom and habit of cheesy, yet inspiring speeches, and her being like the mother of the group, kinda like the combination of the heart of the New Class VII and a drill sergeant when the chips are down and Rean's preoccupied with some other tasks.

    Erika Harlacher did really well. She allowed Juna to take the protagonist role (all be it for Act 1 only).

    this proves that Juna is more of the main heroine when Rean is not there. She's more of a leader than Kurt or Altina.

    although i prefer OC7 more than NC7, but at least:
    - OC7 all leave Rean alone during his hard time with the government. thankfully, Rean has Patrick by his side then.
    - NC7 members are more loyal, being by Rean's side for 2 years straight.

      Juna was an ass to Rean for most the games, Kurt came around late. Altina was the only one who was actually loyal to Rean. OC7 each had their jobs to do, but all the while still working towards the same goal. NC7 isn't even fit enough to stand in the shadow of OC7

      OC7 probably wasn't sure how they'd be able to help Rean in that position.

      Side note I would happily like to add transfering Save Data to Trails of Reverie also transfers whomever you chose as Rean's love interest... making the Canon arguments all null and void.
      Rean is Canonically alone? Alyssa is his cannon love interest? Not on my save file. JunaXRean because they deserve eachother. Especially with what Juna went through in 3 and pulled off in Act 1 of 4.

    I may be in the minority, but I really don't like Juna all that much. For much of the games she is in, she shows little to no respect for Rean as her instructor, she losses control of herself waaaaay too often and has a mental breakdown. She is all over the place. The voice actress did a great job, but the writing for the character was poor

    • @lukerosales5879
      @lukerosales5879 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      In her defence, the Empire annexed her entire province then proceeded to sideline the SSS and completely change around the police force she intended on being a part of. And yes, her anger at Rean was unfair and it was maddening, but it was justified.

    • @davidtimmer596
      @davidtimmer596 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@lukerosales5879 Exactly. How would you feel if your home got annexed and the heroes you admired got treated as criminals and fugitives, and the hero who played a significant role happened to be your teacher as well? Would you immediately welcome him with open arms and sing kumbayah? No. It's understandable why Juna's feelings towards Rean were complicated. He saved her life, but also, was part of the country that took her home away from her. And "Sorry, I was following orders without any say of what was going on" ain't gonna fly as an acceptable excuse in her mind. If anything, I like her inclusion, because it shows that Crossbell's annexation has pretty severe consequences, and it's something Rean will have to deal with.
