- The Legend of Heroes: Eight Leaves One Blade style is a swordsmanship style developed by Yun Ka-fai in Trails (series) .
Only Eight Leaves One Blade user can have a title as Divine Blade (剣聖) .
-Cassius Bright (Divine Blade)
-Arios MacLaine (Divine Blade of Wind)
-Rean Schwarzer (Divine Blade)
-Shizuna Rem Misurugi (Divine Blade of Silver) , because of her style original , she can't get official title as Divine Blade .

Shizuna doesnt actually use the eight leaves style. Hers is the Black God one blade style, its been around for 1000 years and its what Yun Ka Fai modified to make the eight leaves style. Shizuna says that Black god is like the dark path and eight leaves is the light path but the end goal of 'enlightenment' is pretty much the same.
Yeah there’s a difference between the two styles eight leaves one blade seems to revolve around quick and clean attacks, while what we can see of the black god one blade style it seems to kinda playful and toying like, one example is there version of gale they dash around the enemy while creating slashes all over the enemies body, while the eight leaves one blade style is a powerful quick forward slash followed by a elemental slash, it’s pretty interesting to see the two side by side
Anelace is the rival in battle to Estelle , I think these two will be so strong in future like her Grandpa and father.
What i hope from her is that she will be playable and mastered one of the eight leave style like rean or she can be minor antagonist but later is playable. And lastly make her hair longer to make her more adult since it was so long since the last time we see her in game which is SC.

They have their own styles, but for me, eight leaves really prioritize the draw blade technique, one hit one kill, but idk i haven't played kuro yet
Rean's s-craft still my fav for the whole series. I don't think anything would top it until the end.

For me, Arios had the best Eight Leaves One Blade S-Craft
If you ever make a compilation of all these members using each individual technique they have, AND the S-Crafts at the end, it would be awesome, because of the differences in Engines and how kuro makes it look so much more beautiful, I would love that and it would also be very awesome to show people from outside the evolution of the series.
At first it made me think hard why Rean just feels like far from being the strongest 8l1b user. But then it hit me all the shit he went through lol and all the burden he bear. While someone like Shizuna probably lived her whole life training. Tho im kinda new to the trails series so I cant say much.

What makes me wonder is: The way Shizuna uses the techniques are way different from the way the others uses, is she using her own flair into things or Kuro no Kiseki is actually showing how the Eight Leaves one Blade techniques would look in a more action packed environment? Sometimes looking at her it's like you see Vergil xD That new Gale technique of hers is insane and makes way more sense. XD
one of the reason is that, he always hold back, and his friends always try to hold him back as well, which irritates me a bit, he didn't use the power that he has so often and you're right, he has so much shit going on in his life so no time for training lol
I think because he training alot of Form so difficult to Master each of them unlike another divine blade who using only Form and still beat him . Rean not the only one who has alot of shit in his life , another divine blade also have too like Arios join the Bracer to protect his daughter and Crossbell the same time , Shizuna has a contract to defend Ikaruga and Calvard ,,,,,etc
@@advmx3 Shizuna actually uses the black god one blade style, which is a mixture of 8 leaves and something else. That’s why she doesn’t feel like a traditional user, but all of her crafts are essentially the same as Reans. I’m not surprised that she decided to add her own mix to the style, she did become a divine blade at a young age.
In pop culture many fighting styles using blades were born ... Hiten Mitsurugi-ryuu, Tenga Ittou-ryuu and this video's main 'star', which is the Hachiyo Ittou-ryuu

isn't Cid technically an Eight Leaves User as well? I know he study under Cassius and it looks like he uses a tachi as well. Though he is more of an art user than swordsman.
Yes however when talking about the 8 leaves only Ka-Fai true disciples are are considered 8 leaves practitioner while those they teach just know 8 leaves technique.

@@Rubedocto technically it is because he never learned the actual philosophy, just a few techniques. Schwartz did so too since Cassius did the same thing Matteus Vander and Victor Arseid did by teaching the army the basic techniques. That said Cassius confirmed he taught Richard properly, meaning Richard is the only one of the Liberl Army soldiers who is confirmed as an actual practicioner of the style.
The most likely reason he's not included is because he doesn't have an S-Craft.
Is phoenix wave even really part of the eight leaves? It's used with a bo staff instead of a sword and the fact that estelle just learns it in zero makes it seem like it's more a bo technique

Not to be that guy but Shizuna isn't using the eight leaves, she uses the black god style which is the original style that came before the eight leaves.
But aren't Shizuna already confirmed not Eight Leaves practitioner but instead Black god One blade style(Kokushin Ittou-ryuu)? since she already stated herself on Kuro when you first met her. So Zeroth form is might as well not part of Eight leaves.
She is Eight Leaves practitioner because she train under Yun Ka-fai but she only use his Ikaruga style (Black God One Blade) , you can see her S Craft is part of Fifth Form: Morning Moon . She similar to Aurelia Le Guin but using tachi in battle .
@@reanokor2565 Well, she never stated that Yun is actually her master, people just make early guess because she hinted it on Hajimari. But she never elaborate who her master actually is. She being Practioner of BG1B is a fact tho.
Im still stand my theory that Black god One blade is the origin of Eight leaves before Yun ka-fai reformed it into 8L1B. For all we know Yun in the past probably one of Ikaruga member that teach or maybe learned Black God One Blade too before leave and create 8L1B. Also,
Also her special sword/Tachi" is probably the very foundation why it called Black God One Blade in the first place.

@@Comrade_C just like Arseid have spear techniques and Vander have Twin Blade techniques, Having Odachi techniques in 8L1B isn't weird. Heck Analace even using Scimitar than Tachi before Cassius give his tachi to her.

Arios was pretty badass with the high speed at the beginning. And tbh shizuna's s craft is really underwhelming, good visual effects and scenery, but she just literally made ONE cut, powerful no doubt, but I was used to more epic S crafts I guess, I expected hers to be something more
It doesn't look like much but if you look closely the petals stopped moving which was done to indicate how fast her slash actually was
One of her regular crafts is way cooler than her s-craft.
The animation is very good though. I can't wait to play that game too. I still need to finish all the side games though
That one cut is more powerful than everyone before her. I hope Falcom gives her something like judgement cut end once she masters her demon powers (and it won't be patent infringement since other games have abilities similar to it)

What is Shizuna's "main" form? By the looks of S-Craft I'd say it's 4th: Autumn Leaf.
Shizuna technically practices the 0th form or the black god one blade, don't know if she was taught any of the main forms specifically.

@@Isomeria450 No unarmed is form 8. The eight leaves is 7 blade styles and one unarmed style. Shizuna introduces the 0th form either called the twin shadows or black god one blade (it's kind of unclear).
Shizuna has a skill to imitate someone as long she seen it once , so her Form maybe original , maybe that the reason Yun Ka-Fai cannot teach her and told her to master it by herself unlike another his disciple .
In the beginner level you need to learn all forms though

In trail to zero estelle can use Cassius S-Craft is that same.
She uses Cassius modified technique which he created based on the Helix form. So it is BASED on the Eight Leaves but not it. Kinda like how Anelace uses regular techniques and modified techniques.
What about Rean's other three s-crafts?

hope fully all of them, aince Arios Casius and Shizune already meet rean and each time they face off they learn something, escpecially rean. He need a lot of experince to really being called tittle of divine blade of Void. and after seeing Shizune make me realize rean power really only fragment of what true mastery is.
