OK, need to comment again. The music is still obnoxious. But this is hands down the best modelling I have seen on youtube so far, leaving the others - at least the ones doing military stuff - in the dust. Very well done.

Even though I am a Marine grunt that served in the early to mid 2000’s. I have always loved this airplane for some reason. It’s just so big and so fast compared to the Soviet era planes they were up against in Vietnam. My favorite aircraft is the F4U Corsair from WW2. I loved watching the old Black Sheep television show from the old days. Pappy Boyington was such a hero to me personally.
I was never smart enough to be a Naval Aviator, but as an infantrymen I definitely slept better at night knowing we had people out there watching over us, especially Marine Aviators that are experts in the art of CAS.
I know I’ve made fun of “wingers” while I served. As they made fun of us grunts. But we all respected each other and none of us would ever do something to let another Marine down. No matter what their MOS is.

Ce n'était pas une boite TAMIYA, mais j'avais été relativement satisfait de mon travail et paradoxalement de ma peinture camouflage vert et brune.....!!!!!! J'étais tout simplement à des années lumières de cette réalisation là................ FASCINANT........

I really enjoyed your video and the techniques that you use to highlight all of the tiny parts. However, I have one complaint and that is In my squadron, VMFA 323, even when we were in Vietnam, our planes never got that dirty or stained. You got the under tail section perfectly and the underside of the engines but the intakes and the radome never looked like that. Of course, I was flying them in 1965 so they were pretty new. The seats were all Martin-Baker so I don't know of the seats that you mentioned. I thought the instrument panels were great and they seem to come alive. For anyone building this model, you gave some good advice to get a realistic look. Great video.

You, sir, have build the best F-4 Phantom II scale model, in any scale since I started modeling in 1983...and I genuinely mean that! I know you can only get a certain amount of scale effect in 1/48 even if you use that much aftermarket or not. I'd love to see you correct & perfect the good 'ole Tamiya F-4J to convert it to a B os S variant. You might be able to pick up that I love US Naval Phantoms. I grew up around in them in the VMFA-115 hanger at MCAS Beaufort, SC when I my dad was assigned to that squadron in the early to mid 80's before they transitioned to the F/A-18A Hornet & he was ordered to VMFA-451 & later deployed to Desert Storm with them. I'd love to see you do a variant of the 1/32 Academy Hornet. You are a master Phantom creator & an outstanding video production walk through. Simply genius. God Bless you.

Thanks! I'll tell you what we're doing now. One of our guys has just finished a 1/48 F-4J from SWS. We're working on the video now.

This absolutely inspires me for my F-14A Sundowners build. I love your techniques. Also your control over your airbrush pops out for me. Very nice build! Subbed!

Hell yeah! We need to build some Tomcats too, probably the only thing cooler than a Phantom. : )

@@flightlinemedia Arguably.... I think it's a choice between elegance at mach two and a brick at mach 2. :)
