Still one of my favorite movies of all time. I would say its pretty close to being a perfect movie. Now I gotta watch fuckin Transformers. Thanks a lot KF
@Ewan Callister True. The first one is pretty whatever but the 2nd one is actually one of my least favorite movies ever. Also Ive never seen any of the Transformer movies after the 3rd so this will be an interesting experience.
If you notice after Marty goes full on Van Halen at the end of Jonny B Goode and they cut to the crowd the first time, the only one that smiles at him is George Mcfly. I always thought that was a neat moment that even if he doesn't know it yet, he gets a kick out of his sons antics.
KF doing it would be awesome. If you haven't seen it, though, the Dead Meat channel did a great Kill Count/Review on the series that's worth checking out.
I'd never seen this before and I got about 10 minutes into the plot before I paused and went to go watch it. It just sounded way too good and it did not disappoint. Can't wait for 2
1:38:26 - From Wikipedia : The earliest confirmed 3D film shown to an out-of-house audience was The Power of Love, which premiered at the Ambassador Hotel Theater in Los Angeles on 27 September 1922. The camera rig was a product of the film's producer, Harry K. Fairall, and cinematographer Robert F. Elder.
Look, the first is a perfect movie, but so is the second one. I would even argue, the second one is the better "time travel" movie. I mean, they go into the future, into an alternative version of the present and even back into the first movie!! And it's so cool to see the first movie from another perspective, thinking about how all of this was going on while we were watching the first movie, without us knowing. ;) I love the second one. Now, the third one however.... is fine.
Dudeee! So glad that KF are doing both BTTF and Transformers in reviews back to back, the past couple of weeks we’ve all had have been pretty wild but the guys are brightening up our world with some great entertainment right now!
Ooh I love Back to the Future. I’m gonna be sad when you all hate 3 the most lol but happy you guys are doing these. This might even be my favorite Trilogy to be honest.
DanV900 for me it’s not my favorite but I like all 3 equally with 2 being my favorite. However I’m more saying that when they get to 3 rather than saying they didn’t like it they’re just gonna poo poo all over it and trash it lol
@@DanV900 what points feel like they are made for TV? lol never had this feeling with 3 at all. Its just much more of a drama than the first two and set in the old west....
It's funny, talking about the relationship between Marty and Doc, they address this in the commentary. Back in the day, people used to be friends with their neighbors. It wasn't uncommon for a kid to befriend an elderly neighbor. Especially going further back in the decades when kids walked themselves to school and work. Generational differences.
They probably will talk about this next week, but to comment on the end of the movie, Zemeckis never intended on making a sequel. The ending was meant to just be open ended. When it became a huge success and the studio wanted another film, Zemeckis went on record to say that if he knew they were going to make another film when writing the first he would have made a totally different ending. Good stuff!
2 Points: 1. I’ve grown up in Stockton my entire life, it be be like that 2. My parents wanted to buy that Toyota 4x4 because my dad loved this movie but bought a Wrangler because nobody talked to them on the Toyota lot. Love that car, maybe even cooler?
The person Andy is thinking of, is the author of Ready Player One. He visited RT once and drove there Delorean. Idk if it's the actual movie one though
You did not mention that they actually did not plan a second movie after finishing the first one. The ending of the first one was just a cool idea for an ending, they did not plan to actually make a story out of it. Only after the movie was as successful as it was, they started developing a second one and continued exactly where the first one ended.
we don't know if eric stoltz woulda worked as marty mcfly. Zemeckis thought not. what we do know is that Michael J. Fox did work and thus, we have a classic movie that will live on forever.
3 is astronomically better than 2. While 2 is a clever second act to Part 1, it story isn't that great and the acting isn't that great. Part 3 is AMAZING. And it completely shakes up the setting, rather than... Oh, let's do the same scenes.... again.
Jesus, right after I compliment you guys on really great, focused reviewing-- not five minutes later, I put this on and Greg Miller just walks in and offends the late Pussy Galore's grandson. Wow hahahaha. GameOverGreggy ain't gone. It lives... In Review.
Hell yeah ive been waiting for this one. Can’t wait to see your take on the release on the second and third movies and why there were not even a year apart. I hope you guys do 90s Batman next or sometime soon.
This is my first time watching back to the future and I regret not watching it earlier but my god this makes me want to live in the 80s or 50s and see that world (I was born in 98) I can't wait to watch the next two films this is so interesting.
Back to the future is my favorite movie ever. That being said, If dock is running time travel experiments elswhere, then how are the clocks in his apartment off? That makes no fucking sense.
Sorry, but BttF3 is leagues better than BttF2. I'll save the spoilery criticisms for next time, but 2 is goes to such a dark place and it feels like a completely different movie. I know that was the point, but I've always thought it goes too a little far. BttF3 is more tonally consistent with the first film and just a pure delight from start to finish.
The Pepsi Free is a reference to a poster on Marty's wall when he is sleeping. It was a diet soda at the time. Having seen the film a hundred times. I only noticed that a few years ago when I seen it in theater.
Y'all should turn this into Zemeckis in Review :D Roger Rabbit Death Becomes Her Forrest Gump Contact What Lies Beneath (maybe skip this) Cast Away The Polar Express (skip this too) Beowulf A Christmas Carol (and this) Flight The Walk Allied Welcome to Marwen (probably don't need to watch this either)
One of the greatest movies of all time, also it’s a travesty that Michael J Fox wasn’t able to play Peter Parker at this age. He easily would have been the greatest live action Spider-Man.
The only perfect movie in existence? Possibly. And this movie will always have a special place in my Wife's and mines life. We used Earth Angel as our first dance song at our wedding.
Just make a movie about them making the movie to get around the last will, but make it so intensely on the movie aspects that it might as well be the real deal. Or just chop the existing ones up and remix them within the studio rights, cant remake well nobody used the word remix back then. Or buy the directors other film rights and remake those like zombies surrounding the only surviving film BTTF.
Just wondering, I like what they have to say minus them reciting the entire plot. I thought the assumption was the people who watch this have watched the movie. I'm fine recalling parts, but do we need a retelling of the entire thing?
@@NoSurprisesDrew in that case I wish they'd just highlight specific parts and then elaborate on them for longer. Just a preference, I guess, but as soon as they go into every little detail they kind of lose me. All good. Still a decent listen
Are these guys serious about Randy Newman? Or is that an opinion based on Family Guy jokes? Listen to him! He’s one of the greatest satirists in pop music. Huey Lewis and the News didn’t have the balls to write a song like God’s Song.
Still one of my favorite movies of all time. I would say its pretty close to being a perfect movie.

Man. Fucking same. I had a blast watching this again. Now i gotta watch transformers.
@Justin Merrick Guess what? I don't fucking care so stop posting all these stupid fucking spam replies on my comments

Back to the Future is one of those films that I can understand why it should never be rebooted.
I would love a "Final Destination" in review.
Jérôme Dutil-Martin Yes! We need this. I’d love to watch along with you guys.
KF doing it would be awesome. If you haven't seen it, though, the Dead Meat channel did a great Kill Count/Review on the series that's worth checking out.
Hell yeah! All the odd ones will be the top of the list.

Gave us Endgame
49:06 that synchronized "John Deloreon" is unnervingly perfect
36:13 "Walking Hog" just...you're welcome.
12:10 - 12:30 I forget Jared Petty's terrible taste in movies. Glad he found his home at Stadia :p
Damn did he go to Stadia? He will be back for sure then.

Jason Bourne series in review please. Those movies are still amazing.
Hopefully they wait a while to do them if they do. Too many spy and espionage movies recently.
Meh, the first one was amazing, didn't really enjoy the others. That jumpy camera action was way over used in the others.
I love Kevin running his mouth about Bttf 3 knowing how the rankings end up. 😂
Nick didn't have to sneak into a XXX theatre, he was well old enough in the 80s
Catch Tom Wilson (Biff) as Nathan Haywood’s dad in season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow!
1:02:00
Absolute gold watching Kevin get pissy because he can't get a word in edgewise.
I'm so glad you guys did this, it finally got me around to watching Back To The Future. I'm glad I did, this movie is FANTASTIC!
Despite how cool the ice on the Delorean was for the first return trip.... sadly, that NEVER COMES BACK.
Doc's house is the Gamble house in LA, you can do tours of it!
Doc Brown did make them a Bomb but it was just an empty case full off pinball machine parts
Dudeee! So glad that KF are doing both BTTF and Transformers in reviews back to back, the past couple of weeks we’ve all had have been pretty wild but the guys are brightening up our world with some great entertainment right now!
I would love watching animated versions of these movie reviews, jokes and all
The audio quality KF has been putting out has been so fucking perfect during this WAH period.

Can’t wait to watch the other two in reviews! BTTF is a classic Trilogy! Each film so different yet so enthralling.

Cool G walking by the like goddamn Sasquatch in the background broke me.
This is my all time favorite and hearing you guys recite the scenes still gave me goosebumps, such a timeless classic (pun intended)

11:53 First time Andy has used the term 'part X' correctly for sequels. I'm proud of you
Haven’t watched it yet, but man I can’t wait for this one. Top 5 favorite movie of all time.
Simple review; Back to the Future 1 & 2 are the most enjoyable movies I have ever watched (3 is good but you know...)
Going from Back to the Future to Transformers, is gonna give me whiplash. Gonna do it for MeeMaw
3D movies always come around every 30 years when movies are scared of some competition - 50s was TV, 80s was VCR, 10s was video games
As if my name were no indication at all, (yes I spell it differently) this is my favorite movie of all time! Really glad you guys are doing this 👍🚚🔥❤️

They shot them back-to-back, similar to Deathy Hallows Pts1 and 2.. they were just ready to go.
They knew when there was a storm coming, so they could have just attached a big old lightning rod to the delorean and not worry about the clock tower

Back to the future is my favorite movie ever. That being said, If dock is running time travel experiments elswhere, then how are the clocks in his apartment off? That makes no fucking sense.
Doc sold his mansion and all his assets so he's in a different place. You can see it in a newspaper article at the beginning credits
