Thank you for your articulate teaching! I'm a novice who has a slightly different, leaking Sayco valve, and I found your instructions easy to understand. I'm grateful that you named your tools as you used them. Please add the seat wrench to the list of tools in your description.

The good thing about this video is that it shows stuff going wrong at each step, just as plumbing happens in real life.

Good job, I like when parts can be reused and only the damaged ones replaced. Heaven forbid if you ever scratched that pitted faucet fixture!

Your video is very helpful, as i have the same fixture/issue. Also having the same problem with getting the handle off.

I replaced the washer and handle for my bathtub faucets because of a leak and it’s still leaking 😢

Remove the seat as instructed here and inspect it for any damage. if damaged replace the seat and a new washer.

I tried to replace the rubber gaskets on my faucet. Now the handles just spin freely and the water won’t shut off. 😂😂😅

Nice job but really should've changed the entire cartridge on this one. That's most common method and really would've saved you time and effort. Save the $40 worth of effort you put into that and spend the $20 it would've cost for a new cartridge and then not have to worry about reusing an old cartridge as well just to save $20 on a cartridge. This might make sense for basic maintenance on say a hotel where you'd have to do this hundreds of times and the only thing that's gone bad is the rubber washers but clearly based on the condition that handle was in you'd be better off getting a whole new cartridge. Might help keep it from sealing together again with corrosion as well. Def needs antiseize.
