I think you're missing a point here. Even F2P should go for those lvl60 gears. Because they're so good that some of them even at green are better than the F2P option. And the blue grade are most of the time better than the gold version. So comparing gold to gold is not a good thing F2P should be doing, rather comparing a blue lvl60 to the gold f2p gear. Take in mind that a F2P will take about 1 year to have T4, so with 1 year, you should have mats for a blue set.
Another point is about the set, F2P should not be going for more than one set because they will not have jewels for it. I believe, and here goes personal opinion, F2P should go for a mixed set. They will not have the best attacking set but will have the best defending set, and are not limited to attacking with 2-type only.

Good point. We can look at it from that angle too which is certainly something to do. In those situations I'd probably look for the 1-3 rares gear then.

Good night, I have a question... Do Army Boosts ADDS power to Troop Boosts. For example, I have 335% army hp, 288% army defense, 175% army attack boosts and only almost 200% on infantry, range and cavalry attack boosts. DO MY ARMY ATTACK BOOST OF 175% ADDS POWER OR BOOST TO MY 200 INFANTRY ATTACK BOOST???? .... I MEAN, IS MY REAL INFANTRY ATTACK BOOST EQUALS TO 375% (THE SUM OF THEM). PLEASE HELP ME.

Loving this vid btw, haven’t watched it all but I am just wondering what you think here. I am a F2P and got lucky a while back with an epic bell drop. I made the winter mitts and have managed to get them rare. I have been playing just under a year and am sitting at about 15 mil out of 21 mil xp till lvl 60. I know when I hit lvl 60 I will want to use the mitts for my sets because even them at rare beat out a lot of my other options as a F2P. Just wondering on what you think I should aim for, with mitts as my off hand basically guaranteed. I don’t have the F2P main hand and currently use the horned cudgel at uncommon but am 2/3 of the way for that to rare. Just wanted other people’s input!
Sounds like a great start. I'd just keep building up your set and see where it takes you. Chances are you can use cavalry as you defend for the future depending on what else you get!
DakotaFisherman wow fast reply! I know a lot of the P2P gear is unrealistic but who knows, you can always get lucky with drops and that makes these pieces possible for me. I was wondering if you would recommend to focus on legs of the deceiver for my legs since they offer army attack which is great for a mixed set? Right now I do have purple honey comb chaps but I know i can get the legs to uncommon rn and by rare which is not too far fetched since it’s just 2 rares they would definitely be better? The other thing is, what chest piece do you recommend for a F2P? Is the winter parka good enough and easy enough to upgrade where you wouldn’t recommend any other more expensive pieces or would you potentially look at the hardened Carapas? I’m not sure but I have the armour of the abyss right now and don’t think it’s quite cutting it compared to the other gear I have and can make.

1. where do i get the link for those white images with golden gear in triangles for inf, cav and ranged?
2. I'm playing for about an year and I haven't build any gear, except for wyrmbone coronet because of the research bonus, which is something I think it's worth it even forgetting all other wyrm gear.
3. as Rennato Deivison commented before, it's worth considering building some blue ultra rare material gear than gold common material. what matters is the bonuses you get and the possibity to upgrade it if you play this game for a long time or even if you want to go from f2p to p2p in the future
4. By the way, how easier it'd get to farm rare items on labyrinth? Consider using all gems for holy stars and/or energy to phantom knight
Personally in elite its super way easy for rares. For normal, its still not too bad but its not going to make you a gold set in 100k stars I'm pretty sure. I had to spend over 400k holy stars in elite just to get a few epics.

Only thing i would say here is that i and probably every other player in this game,would rather have purple mitts than gold parka. F2P can get firewall plate to blue over time,gf,laby,monster drops etc.
Yup.. which is something to mention. My only warning is its NOT going to come easy for f2p. I figured if people are willing to go down the path and are dedicated, then yes you're absolutely right overtime
@@Dakanoth From my point of view,f2p people have to choose from the beggining their gear set and focuss all their rares only on that gear set. Over time it can get pretty amazing. Blackwing,gargantua,frostwing,mecha trojan have nice drop rates. Getting firewall plate,drums,dradons talon or greatsword to blue or even higher is possible for f2p people over time. Just requires patience and key is not to waste rares on other pieces,mistake i did on my f2p trap lol.
I disagree with this guy. It’s fine to make some items like the Tomahawk or those easy Range/Inf accessories as F2P.
But I’m 100% F2P still have the rose Knight offer available, 600+ days in. I’ve had purple Winter Mitts since for about 7 months now, and I have Blue Eternal Codex which are much better items at those levels.
I’ve made plenty of level 60 gear with my rare mats instead of using those mats on lesser gear.
Early on I messed up with Hell Drider set using my rare mats on Aegis & Burning scroll instead of saving them for my Skullcrusher ( which is blue now)
This is the point he missed. If you make the winter parka, it takes away those mitts. Don't make the lesser gear, you're better off in the long run to be patient and make those L55 and L60 gears

I'm pretty late to the party, but I've been trying to watch videos on gear because I honestly dont understand how to make it and need some serious help in that area. I'm focusing on inf or inf/range for right now but I don't know how to put together war gear. I've been getting some level 60 gear that I've seen other people have but it doesnt seem right. And I'm not even a lv 60 yet so I've also been struggling in trying to put together a war set for my current level. (57) I dont know how to add stats and what stats I need to focus on to make them either. Anyone have any advice? (I'm F2P by the way)
My advice is pick a set that fits the phalanx you use most. The idea is to focus on atk, then hp, then def as priority. So whatever you can create, start there. There are plenty of early game gear out there to start with, like cav legs from queen bee to bon appetit head piece. Most f2p start inf range because the lost island relics are used. Eventually people either hop on to burning scrolls, cav drums or inf vials

I am a mild f2p and the set that you showed is extremely p2p since almost the entirety of the set is from one monster
I'd complement it by using vials and wyrm seals. If the helmet, sword or torso is considered: do the wyrm rod, helmet wise visage still, and then do legs of deceiver till talons
If f2p then the normal f2p set is fine till you get better gear by some luck stashing rares

12.5 atk for only inf. Which is gonna be the front line have a disadvantage for full cav attack. While using armor of the abyss you 5 for your inf 5 for range 5 for cav. Thats 15

What did you mean by def jeweles will negate?
Well if you ask IGG support, they tell a story that says something along the lines of: ATK is negated by DEF. How much? Why? Questions that frankly most ask. Well I'd assume they are referring to the damage inferred onto that unit type by said unit type. So any DEF in any theory should cut the ATK from an opponent onto said unit type, is the way I understand it. But is it efficient? From testing, most are saying no compared to ATK.
@@Dakanoth perhaps hp+def is close to being = atk. I refuse that they thought about everything in this game...but def is just something completely useless. I think no one has cracked yet the secrets of def :)

Everything was so confusing...* ou couls use this but this is like this but then theres this but it could be better then this or this * ...just lay out a set and then after you have a decided set then explain alternatives. Suggesting other things while trying to indicate something can easily confuse people.
@@Dakanoth a suggestion. make 4 categories. complete f2p starting out, complete f2p midgame, mild p2p and full p2p ( not including champ gear).
and then for all 4 categories, make a gear set diagram picture thingy. and maybe, you can make different set for different formations like pure inf, pure cav, pure range... inf-range, inf-cav, cav-range. and inf-range-cav all mix... so if i am mild p2p and want to focus on inf-cav, then i can just look at inf-cav in mild p2p.
if someone wants to make easy mix gear, they can just look at f2p mix gear. i know it might take a while but once its done and ready, its super helpful and easy.
9 mins in and you've made one calvary suggestion... I'm a F2P Cav/Range focused this video is frustrating. Especially for a newbie, way too fast. It's probably fine for a player that has been going for awhile.

yuck, this is terrible advice. This guy did no math at all before giving advice. He jumps all over the place. Doesn't split the idea of mix or blast sets. What's the purpose and differences of them?!?! Styles of play e.g. no need for a mix set if you are only building enough troops to hide and attack with. 5 marches full... not a bad way to play for F2P accounts.
For those reading this, look at the numbers. 1% attack = about 3% hp both are important. most the best gear is better blue then crap gear/okay'ish gear at gold. just go for the best monster set.
It's also pretty old. But the point I was making here is different sets for different types of people. Not that it matters, but the tipping point for attack gear does reach a point of redundancy in a mix set for reasons stated earlier. A blast set is nothing more than a one type set. Purpose is clear if it wasnt already.. it bonuses that unit. Etc. But these are all topics I've talked about and I wouldnt say I explain it well here so I apologize for that.
@@Dakanoth Yeah, i apologize. I was scanning youtube for ideas for a new account, and give advice for a reference to new players. I didn't look at the date of the video when I commented. Looked at a couple more of your newer videos, they are much better. Couple small gems of info I can share with some newer players. So thanks for that content.
