I recommend this place to people who like exploring. There's so much to explore in Haven Devon Cliffs and that also makes a variety of different things to do. You have the jump, the two aerial adventures, The entertainment arcade, the list goes on and on. I really love this place and this is somewhere I would want to live in. Unfortunately, that's not possible. I give this place 10/10 for those reasons. But also if you really want to go, then choose a day where all your days are cloudless. I'm happy your family enjoyed it and I would recommend, if they have the time and you guys have the money, that you would at least get a week in instead of always getting a weekend in. If you went on a cloudless weekend, you could have ventured out on Sandy Bay but I understand why it wasn't the weather for that. What I am trying to say is that I hope your family enjoyed it and that I give this a 10/10.
Hi, we definitely agree. The weather can make a huge difference if you stay at this resort. Kids loved it, but at the moment we are trying to see as many holiday parks as we can to see what they are all like. Facilities here though, were by far the best we have found on any site. Caravans for us has been at Hoburnes. Maybe next time we visit (sure the kids will make us) we will look at upgrading the caravan?
Ive not been to devon cliffs for over 10 years and i can't believe how different everything looks especially the arcade!! All the floor used to be a dark arcade carpet but it would look super dirty and sticky from kids dropping drinks all ofer it so im glad they got rid of it. The extra activities at the park were always rather pricey so it doesnt surprise me thats still the case. Fortunately there is so much you can do and if youve got kids they will have tons of fun. Im really glad that devon cliffs still holds up today and i do consider it to be the best haven park in the uk . Its a lovely spot for a quick getaway as well even if some of the caravans are very basic. Most of the time thats fine as its only really a place to sleep for the night
Hi and thanks for the comment. Yes it is a huge park, almost on par with Trecco Bay which we recently visited. Can be as expensive or as cheap as you want it to be, just cover the kids eyes and ears when you walk through the arcade🫣
love your revue we stayed for 2 weeks in September with are 22 year old daughter and stayed in the sports bar most of the afternoon and visited local beaches I loved it here great early morning walks to the beach and coffee and wifi to catch up going again in may . my childhood memories are in places like this and we got food from Tescos near buy to save money.
Hi, Glad you liked our video and review. I think Scott could have quite easily spent time in the sports bar. But with the arcade being in eyes view for the kids would have cost him a fortune😆
Wow amazing place really huge complex sis..lots of activity to enjoy..may field, may arcade may pool at may beach din halos andyan na lahat hehe sulit ang gala pag dyan pumunta.
Devon Cliffs used to be amazing there were 3 clubs, Bugsy’s, Capones and another one I can’t remember the name of but it was where all the family entertainment happened with the Tiger Club. And Capones used to be adults only. Hardly recognise the place from your video!! Great video thanks for sharing! 😊
Spot on! The kids will love this place but it's knackering for walking up various hills around the park & especially the hill back up from the beach is an absolute killer! lol
I did archery high ropes segways swimming all 5 days and some night swims it was so fun i went in the arcade and spent about 50 quid a day lol it was my favourite holiday ever and the evening entertainment was the best!!!
Hi and thanks for the comment, we did not know it was that old. Think it has added bits on over the years to cope with the number of visitors it gets each year...
I have been to camber sands 5 times in the last 2 years and am going again in November. The site is brilliant and the caravans are very clean and as u know dungeoness is not far away try it am sure u will like it
I went here for 5 days it was so fun i could only get £10 a day in the arcade and then to the entertainment and go back to the caravan and play frustration ❤ it was so fun i got a big caravan too ans a lovely view ❤❤❤❤
Hi can anyone recommend best holiday park in Devon/Cornwall please? Weve taken my boys to parkdean resorts romney sands last few years but want to try somewhere else . Thanks
Hi, have you tried camping? In the long run it does end up being cheaper. Obviously, it is weather dependant, but our kids love camping in Cornwall every year. And being in a tent does force you to go out and experience more...
A brilliant detailed review I agree with what you said about the mash and barrel food isn't that good but we always find south beach has much better for food
Hi, all the entertainment we saw was good. Singer and comedian for adults on weekend we were there and of course the obligatory Bingo..Definitely the one aspect Haven do excel in compared to many other parks.👍
Thank you so much for watching the video. We are glad you liked it. We do try and give honest review as much as possible. If you have kids, they will definitely love it.
I try and limit my kids to £10 a night in the arcade. We don't go in them during the day because you get carried away and it ends up costing a bomb 😂😂😂 we usually do activities during the day to keep them occupied. Also isn't it called Capones not Malones? Lol 😂 I agree with the Mash and barrel though.
Hi and yes, £10 a day is good advice. Scott realised straight after he had said Capones incorrectly, so good spot by yourselves too. Think he got his gangsters mixed up😅
@@TheHadwinsTV haha 😂😂 yeah tbh I can't fault either venue or Devon Cliffs. As a whole it's a lovely park with lovely views. It's a shame I don't live closer. Did you visit the museum and farm as you go in to the park? The world of country life? If you didn't it's highly recommended, you get discount too. I've been twice now and it never fails.
Hi, we did not find or see many within walking distance. There was one pub on the road leading to the site, approx 1/2 mile from entrance. But if you are the far side of the park, this could equate to 1.5 miles. As for shops and other facilities, there are, but more a drive than walk.
Excellent site lovely clean caravan only left park yesterday one downside tho the site is very noisy and why do they put pensioners amongst caravans with families otherwise brilliant stay
Hi, shame if you found it noisy, I suppose school holidays determine the age of the campers. With us having children, we never notice it. It's normally noisier in the tent than outside🙄
Hi, we did not know they had changed them! That is a shame as our daughter Amy really enjoyed it there becuase of them...Sometimes change is not good....
Our caravan was filthy. Mouldy and mucky. I complained and got robbed off so asked for the manager who did move us to a bigger and better van. Too loud. Loads of drinkers in the arcades not watching they’re kids. One un supervised kid punched my autistic son. Facilities not big enough for amount of people there. Could hear club house music when we went to bed. Beach was full of sea weed and can’t take dogs on there. Exmouth town is like a ghost town so if you want a busy town with decent shops you have to drive to Torquay or Paignton. An hours drive away. Loads of people were complaining when we went there. The pool is great. The animal park next to the site is great. But on the whole this site does not live up to the standards of the other sites we have been to. If you want to see people getting drunk and hear them staggering back to they’re caravans waking everyone up in the process then it might be the place for you. But if you want a holiday around people who behave civilised then don’t go here. If you want a quiet resort don’t go here. It’s like being in black pool. The place is not a good fit for autistic kids either. Far too much noise and too many people.
I think this is an excellent presentation. You are a natural. Well done guys.
Brilliant review - Thanks! Very helpful
Thank you very much for your kind comments. 😉

In the 90's there used to be a huge fun fair, but I think this area is now the arcade
Yes just an arcade now, think a fun fair would have been cheaper🙄
Spot on! The kids will love this place but it's knackering for walking up various hills around the park & especially the hill back up from the beach is an absolute killer! lol
Hi, we never did the trek on to the beach as the weather was not the best, by the sounds of it, probably a good thing...
Brilliant I'm going with my family in 5 weeks. Heard the hill is very steep though
Hi, sure you will enjoy and think it will depend where you are in park as to whether you will see any of the steep hills...

What area of the park did you stay on? Looks a bit like Gorse Hill to me. I love Devon Cliffs. The museum and farm as you go in is great x
@charlottejanvier8626 Hi! We stayed in Palm Avenue x
Enjoy and be safe

Hi, is the on-site market expensive?
Hi, No, it is not too bad. Well, Scott said the wine was reasonably priced🙄
@@TheHadwinsTV haha thank you for replying :)
There is a Lidl and Tesco just round the corner and a drive-through McDonalds. If you want to avoid park prices :)

Hi do you have any comments on the firing range? Looking to take the dog and worried about the shot noise!
hi, we did not hear anything from the firing range, so think you should be fine to take your dog👍

There is a bus service that goes from the campsite into Exmouth. It stops by the pub just outside the campsite.
I'm going there from the 24th to the 28th of July next year
