My favourite holiday destination. Been going every year for years. Fell in love with the place the first time we went and will be there in a couple of weeks. Can't wait❤❤❤
Wow, Wow, Wow, and Wow. 10 / 10 to Exmouth Council and it's residents for a magnificent presentation of their domain. From your videos I have seen the excellent high standards our coastal resorts achieve, and I congratulation them on their dedication to excellence. So what next I ask? can anyone beat this. On this viewing it's going to be very hard, Exmouth take the biscuit.
The trip around Devon is getting really interesting with Exmouth another awesome seaside town with more nice beaches as well as places to eat and drink, nice weather for walking around the Marina Village have a great week and until your next tour of Devon Thank You.🇬🇧🤠🇬🇧
Really wanna see Exmouth you should film Exeter, last I was in Devon was East Souar Camping 🏕 trip with school 🏫 friends 🧡, went to Salcombe really wanna go to Ifacombe seaton , brixham
The beach looks lovely. On the day of watching this there has been a sewage spill. What a shame. I liked the marina area. I thought the green coloured hotel looked hideous.
We have access to a caravan on the haven site, i love walking on the beach, depending on the tides its a lovely long walk and you can walk to and from the caravan site to Exmouth Harbour. I love flying my kite or just paddling in the sea. There are some really cool places to eat and shop, i like it cause its not touristy, its a great place for water activities.
There used to be dozens and dozens of guest houses, but trends changed and people prefer to stay in self catering accommodation in Devon Cliffs holiday park, which is just a short drive away. It's Haven's largest park and has grown so much over the years it's almost a town in itself and has its own beach. Over the last 20-30 years the guesthouses couldn't compete and one by one closed down. Also, Air B&B is a thing now, so there are plenty of holiday flats to rent centrally too.
I stayed at a place called Sandy bay back in the 50s. Stayed in a caravan with my parents. It’s about 3 miles from Exmouth. We never thought much of Exmouth then and it looks worse now. The tide comes in sideways at times and it’s not safe to swim in. I haven’t been there since.
I've been to Exmouth 3 times and I didn't like it!, apart from the beach and sea, it doesn't feel like a traditional seaside town, there's only 2 beach shops on the front and both were closed and the town was like a ghost town, a lot of shops closed down and boarded up!. I was talking to someone who lived there and they said they don't get many tourists because not much there, I'm not surprised if they don't have lots of attractions and beach/gift shops. I'll never go there again, nothing would entice me back there again!
It looks very pretty and well kept but I have to admit, it's lacking in sea front cafes and amusements. Not everyone wants them but it seems a bit....um.....oap? By the way, the owners of the green hotel 🛏️, should be taken to court. It looks absolutely awful and a total eye 👁️ sore. Yes. Nice but not particularly exciting from what I can see. 👍 Neil.
With regard to the green hotel....yes! Probably one of the worst colour schemes of any building I've seen! It stands out for all the wrong reasons Neil!
Thank you!! This is where I used to live and go to school xxx
You're welcome
nice place!

Exmouth is a lovely town and a great base for days out in Seaton, Sidmouth, Budleigh Sulterton, Lyme Regis etc.
Good idea 👍🏻

Ah yes Exeter is in my plans for sure

Ah I am so so sick of the sewage and water issues in this country
It’s unacceptable isn’t it

True
Visited there many times between 1985 to 2007, staying Dawlish Warren on the other side using the Starcross Ferry...

Thank you - I did wonder if that was the case
Very sad to hear
I was there last week, incredible walk on that beach, walked all the way till the end, then return above the cliffs. was stunning beauty
It really is!
Is there a place opposite the beach with a lake with Swan boats? Or am I getting mixed up with Weymouth? 😂
What is that big red and yellow metal equipment by the sea?
Looks like it’s best days are over !
😮😮😮😮
Can't agree with that. Exmouth is lovely.

According to google maps there is a premier inn and a hotel facing the sea.....there somewhere..facing the sand..
Found the premier inn but not much else!
