Hope you enjoy your time in the US and that you make Denmark very proud. I am happy to hear that your classes are going well and wish you the best of luck.
Welcome to the US! Love your videos! I have been watching them for a few years, way before my dread journey began! Hope to run into you one day! Blessings
I hope you enjoy Seattle! You should make vlogs and things especially when you go on your road trip. I'm glad everything is working out for you with your classes and roommate. You're adorable
Welcome to the US! I hope you have an amazing experience- Washington is a beautiful area. If you have a chance you should spend some time in Olympia- it is very lovely- with great music and has many local environmental programs. Also- thank you for all of your dreadlock advice :)
That's so great that you're enjoying Seattle so much! I'm from Washington and love camping up in the Puget sound area. :-) I think you must be referring to Snoqualmie? It's pronounced sno-kwal-mee. :-) hope you have a great weekend!
My husband and I live in Seattle! There's something called Hempfest in August down by the waterfront in August, if you're going. It would be great to hang out with you sometime, if you would want to. We've lived in WA state since we were both really young and would love to show you around.
I think you were thinking of the place snohomish? (I'm not sure how to spell it haha) I live on vancouver island so not far! cool that I've been watching you and you've moved over here :) have fun camping!
OMG, we live 30 minutes away from each other! I promise I won't stalk you...well...maybe a little :p Pike Place Market is amazing, I love it there. I think you might like to take a tour of 'Underground Seattle'. Seattle once burnt to the ground and they built over top of it. I haven't done it yet myself, but have been planning on it :) I know the mountains you speak of, they are beautiful! Have fun!
I think it's fantastic that you want to get to know American students as well! As a student in an area with many international students, I often wish more would emerge from their "pack" to talk. I (and many people I know) would love to get to know them, but it's intimidating to approach a group of people with a lot of camaraderie. Which I know is exactly the struggle you face, but I guess my point is, don't be shy! Most Americans are quite friendly (and completely fascinated by Europeans, not going to lie, lol!) ... Also, are you allowed to get a hot plate? That opens up so many more options than just a microwave.
Glad to know you're enjoying Seattle :) just curious, how's the reception of your dreads so far? What are the weirdest comments you've received? Your dreads are looking spectacular btw :D
The reception is very good! People are complimenting or being interested in them, so that's nice. Weirdest comment? I got one today, walking down The Ave, which can be a bit of a creepy place - "CAN I PULL YOUR DREADLOCKS?". Generally people are very nice and non-creepy though.
I have family who lives in Seattle! I live in Salem oregon, so im pretty close! I would LOVE to meet you! :) thats awesome that your loving it here in the US! How long are you going to be here, and where are you planning on road tripping to?:)
Nice video:) What are you studying? I'm studying Environmental Biotechnology and I think it sounds really interessting what you're learning over there.:)
I'm in engineering back home studying Urban Energy and Environmental Planning. It's kind of a small and weird area, but it's nice. I'm just taking courses with the Environmental Sciences, economics and politics over here.
You should have gone! Macklemore was there for meet and greets. Seattle's so calm about those things too! Only three people were with him at a time mostly, no big crowd. Anyways might I add you're my favorite youtuber and I'm so happy you replied!
Yeah, really. Pacific Coast Highway (PCH, which is both Highway 1 and 101 at different times) will change your life. Stop by as many cities as you can. When you are passing Big Sur (where I once saw a pine tumble into the ocean), there's an old bus by the side of the road. This bus is a little store. Behind it is a river and an Adirondack chair is facing it. Have a seat, a cup of coffee, and watch the remnants of last year's winter rush by. Carve your name on the tree there and I'll see if it's there the next time I head up north.
Hehe, I'm sure you're right! Unfortunately I live in dorms as of now, I don't have a fridge and the only cooking tool I've got is a microwave. It's a bit of a petty situation!
Do they know out there that you're a famous dreadhead blogger?:D I mean like eeeeeeeverybody knows you, do they recognize you on the street or did any of the classmates know who you were?:D
Anna April Instead of that, make a video of your road trip to SoCal. Explore the cities. Believe me, our coast will break your heart. I used to backpack up and down that coast. Then I followed trains for years until it became too difficult to catch out without getting hurt. So many quaint cities and good (if not nutty) people. There's good food too. Stop by Cambria, San Luis Obispo, Carmel, Monterey, Big Sur, Solvang, Avila Beach Pier, San Francisco etc. I'm sure some of us here can recommend great places for you to visit (both for eating and for general catharsis). Of course it depends on how much time you have. When I first got my dreads, I thought I was the only Asian guy with them on the west coast. Then I went to San Francisco. It seemed everyone I passed on Haight-Ashbury had dreads. So for a break from gawking eyes (although Seattle has its own dread community) visit SF. Write a poem from a bridge in the rain somewhere and read it to us.
It's so nice to see your face again! Enjoy your new adventure. :)
That's awesome! I'd love to see a vid your days in the states. I hope you have a great time. Glad you like it so far!

Make sure to come to California sometime while you're here in America! :)
