I am an Android guy. I seriously have nothing against Apple. I don't use them. For my everyday use, I stick with the s22 ultra. It has all I need and the pictures for all flagship phones are about the same with some minor differences. The s22 ultra has the zoom, software and are very useful. But the google pixel 7 pro still pictures are more natural and I prefer slightly over the s22 ultra. The problem that I wish Samsung fix are the shutter speed and the oversaturation of pictures. The colors look so brushed in and unnatural. I prefer the pixel main still pictures only. But everything else, the s22 ultra wins. Selfies and zooms s22 ultra.

Supposedly 5.0 UI, and the Snapdragon Gen 2 will fix the shutter lag on the S23 Ultra.

Just a feedback - When comparing photo samples, try to click photos with a human subject instead of pets or objects specially in low light and portrait modes. This will help a lot in deciding which phone to go for.

I am a Samsung fanboy but i can see lately Apple has covered so much distance. Their screens are the best along with Samsung's ( i still prefer Ultra's slightly bigger and more boxy screen though), the use of steel makes the quality of the phone top too, their batteries used to be the worst 3-4 years ago but are no1 nowadays , their cpu and software were always no1, they decided to give more ram to their top phones and now they fixed the notch too. Once they install a usb-c port it will be difficult to find a reason not to buy this phone, except price;)

I looked at both Pixel 7p and S22 Ultra decided on S22 Ultra..P7p doesn't match the S22 Ultra in any shape or form its made by Foxconn and S22 Ultra is a far better phone at least in terms of keeping the value.Samsung official site also has a great trade in deals. I ended up getting a Graphite online exclusive S22 Ultra for £755 with £210 trade in for my old Note 9. P7p doesn't have the pen ,sd card slot and S22 ultra Fast charge is twice as fast.

Therefore the Note 9 battery lasted me literally more than 24 hrs at times. The Battery on S22 Ultra is pretty big one if you use your phone properly set up and utilise it will last no probs. Larger phones naturally will use more power at least due to the screen and display. Google P7 or P7p will be worth nothing in a year S22 Ultra will still be worth 30% of its purchase value even after 4 yrs.

    • @SoulSeeker20
      @SoulSeeker20 ปีที่แล้ว

I had the 22 ultra for 7 months and the pixel for about a month and they have their strengths and weaknesses. It 100 depends on what you care about in the end and what's your use case. Pixel and Samsung have roughly the same battery life. Pixel feels much better in the hand, and I cant talk enough about how good it feels to have a light phone. However, it doesn't charge nearly as fast as the Samsung, and I find pixel is usually picky about which chargers you can use it with. Pixel is more smoother but 22 ultra is the better multitasker. Anyways, i say that to say there's trade offs and it's important to know what you care about the most because it will make your decision a whole lot easier.

I like the whole video, but I could see that "it all comes down to personal preferences and the way you plan to use your phone" conclusion coming. It's always that conclusion. I just want a tech reviewer to go savage and say "Nah, the other two are trash phones, don't be a moron and pick this one, it's the obvious winner here!" for once.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Haha, I get you. The thing is though...it normally is just down to personal preference. None of these phones is trash, and what's great about a phone for one person is of no interest to another (and vice versa). I did mention that the 14 Pro Max is technically the best, but if you're someone who prefers Android to iOS, for example, then that isn't going to matter. I highlighted winners in each category too. But we all have different priorities!
In the past I have been more direct in picking a winner when it was more obvious, the S20 Ultra for instance was no good and the S20 and S20+ were way better.

very tough to decide ... but let me share my TACTILE experience :
A couple of days ago, I was walking around some shop with mobile phones, and I decided to stop for a while and take a look. It was a good idea, because I actually got the chance of checking all these 3 phones (at the same time), which resulted in an exceptional experience, I 'm telling you.
The very first tactile experience was a big eye-opener for me. I have never had these 3 phones physically in my hands before, and I decided to share this tactile experience with you.
1/ the iPhone 14 Pro Max was like a brick - in a very positive way. I was very surprised how much I liked it (basically, I am a Samsung user, I have got Galaxy S20 plus, before that I have had different Galaxy Note devices). But the build quality of this Apple device was simply on a completely new level (compared to anything I've ever had in my hands).
2/ as the second, I took the Galaxy S22 Ultra to my hands, and I was (again) surprised, how the iPhone felt completely different (and so much better). I am talking about my personal subjective feelings. The Samsung was feeling lighter, perhaps the rounded shape was also supporting this feeling, and it felt like "cheaper" experience compared to the exclusive iPhone. I was not expecting that, and this experience really struck me. The build quality of the S22 Ultra was like 1 level below the iPhone. Very unpleasant feeling for a Samsung user ...
3/ the Pixel 7 Pro was the third phone in my hands, and (this is what I expected though) my tactile feeling of it was 1 level below the Samsung. Again, my personal subjective tactile feeling of the build quality. Compared to Samsung, it was like similar in weight, but the materials were simply "even cheaper" compared to Samsung.
So this was my tactile experience. I was not comparing it like "while using it", I can only say, that I have had the first iPhone in the past and then the second iPhone, and I simply had to sell both, because I was simply unable to stay within the Apple ecosystem. The iPhone 14 Pro Max again surprised me, and I was actually considering of buying it (but only as a standalone picture-shooter and video shooter), yet again, I decided to wait. I do not like the "dynamic island" and even with the picture detail quality and with that "no-competition" video quality, I am still unaware if I should really get it. I also do not like the Lightning connector, perhaps it does make sense to wait for the iPhone 15 with USB-C 3.2? (I do not know), also, I do not like that the 48M photos are RAW only, JPG is still 12M only, and the zoom is simply below most Android devices ...
So, now I am waiting for the S23 Ultra and its first reviews to see how the people in Samsung did their job.

With all these cellphones of today there is no right or wrong just personal preference.I mean even if you have all the money in the world and just a budget phone is all you? Need then certainly that's what you should get. If you're someone who likes to really play with your phone and enjoys toying with features that may. Not be practical for you to use but you enjoy having them there. None the less than the flagship phones are great. The brand name simply no longer really matters as again. It comes down to personal preference. You choosing to go with the pixel makes perfect since as it is an awesome phone and apparently meets your needs.I myself have the S21 ultra but I'm planning on buying the iPhone 15 promax when. It comes? Out. Because it has grabbed my attention and the research I've done so far shows me that it will be the phone for me. . If someone else however wants a Samsung or a Google or even Motorola or one of the others. I recently got the iPhone 14 Pro Max (upgraded from OnePlus7) and absolutely love it. Personally I find the screen of the S22 Ultra my ultimate dream screen because it's bigger and best to read e-books. But at the end of the day, the way my iPhone syncs instantly with my iPad and Mac is just an amazing boost to productivity. And everything just works so flawlessly. My ideal phone would've been the S22 Ultra's hardware with iPhone software, but really you can't go wrong with either of these amazing pieces of tech.

Great and well balanced review of 3 great phones. One point I would like to make is the (in my experience) only Apple devices have decent residual values on the second hand market (here in the uk) which helps with annual upgrades. I think when reviewers talk about value for they should factor in retained value. Pixels and Galaxies are worth far less used and thus are worse value for money.

Basically what this video demonstrates like so many others is that you really can't go wrong. I mean all of these phones are so good that when you buy one you are not going to miss anything that you don't have and most circumstances. All the cameras are nice and any phone can make phone calls or text pretty much as good as any other. Unless you're a professional or a technician of some kind The average person won't need the advanced features and will be very happy just snapping everyday photos and being able to take care of social business. Personally I sort of like the iPhone design because with the notch it's the most distinguishable phone out there along with the Google with its distinct look. I know there seems to be a push to get rid of the notch but why do that, it's that's distinguishing mark. Also I'm not about to watch a movie on a phone when I can simply use Chromecast or some other feature and watch it on the TV. Wonderful video, much thanks. You have a friend in Columbus Ohio :-)!

Great review, to be honest out of these three you can’t go wrong. On a personal experience Samsungs customer service was solid for me, I had screen burn on a note and they replaced it within an hour. Annoyingly I had to drive to Croydon from Sittingbourne though. I had Waze on full brightness for about 10 hours and it destroyed the screen to the point the store said it’s the worst they’ve seen. ( I drive for a living ).
Pixel looks to be a good solution for the budget and I’m considering it.
Samsung with the stylus that I occasionally use for photos and selecting text etc is just so handy! Also Knox and rarely Dex are good features too.
I have a iPhone 12 I use daily and it’s quick no nonsense approach. Quickly dialling out and battery life management coupled with a more than acceptable camera performance is great.
I have a Google one and drive account and it works great on both android and ios.
It’s such a hard decision to choose which device to keep for a couple years, especially when apple trade in prices hold better.
Things that bug me on apple is lightning and the notifications just aren’t catching up with android.
Lately I’ve less issues with android apps bugging out compared to iOS apps too.
Even trying to comment on Facebook is a pain on iOS with the keyboard not getting out the way.
So many swings and roundabouts on this topic it seems their is no clear winner for some

Which you should buy is pretty simple if you're an iPhone user. The iPhone. LOL For team Android, the waters aren't just murky, they're kind of a mud pit. Phones overall in the last several years have stagnated. Tiny little design changes - like where the camera array is placed - and minimal real world differences in hardware mean that outside of a broken phone or a battery what won't hold charge well anymore, there is no REAL incentive to upgrade if you're not a member of the "I must have the latest and greatest and never keep any phone more than 6 months" club. Put another way, I have been debating updating my trusty Note 10+ after years of solid, reliable service. The only real "issue" with it is the battery is starting to degrade after a few years. Far from the point of unusable, to be sure, but how many more years can it go? I look at everything out there and just don't see ANYTHING that brings enough of a tangible benefit to warrant dropping over a thousand bucks on another glass sandwich.
I'd honestly consider an iPhone if I didn't already have one in my pocket for work and know from a couple of years of having to use one that iOS feels like going backwards in time 10 years. (To ME, personally. That was not an attack on Apple, if you're inclined to assume that.) The hardware is great though. The software support from Apple should rightfully be the envy of EVERY Android phone maker. But they are not for me.
Right now I'm leaning to the Pixel 7 Pro. Seems rational as a former Team Nexus guy who is getting over his resentment of killing the program for the more locked-down Pixel brand. (Still have an old N5 on the wall as a smart device controller and dart board scoreboard!) But they insist on putting a curved display on the Pro - one of my most hated "features" on my current Note 10+. But I'm one who DOES often use a telephoto zoom, so it's a legit reason to go Pro over the regular P7. Maybe I'll just continue to debate until the next generation devices come out, or my Note drops dead.

the fact that on every android phone except maybe the ROG (which really should be apart of this group comparison imo) has a bigger lower chin on the bezels, when its not symmetrical it triggers me immensely, I moved from a Motorola Edge 20 Pro to an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the Motorola was also flat.
Curved screens are cringe and they need to stop, if Android gets a chance of getting me back in the next 4/5 years it'll need to be flat and symmetrical. By that time I'm sure the ROG phones will be absolute behemoths.

I actually have the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max and having run both of these phone .. am now going to attempt the OnePlus 10 Pro .. my last daily phone was the OnePlus 8T .. which wasn’t a bad phone but just seemed to be acting up as of late and I thought it was time for an upgrade .. what I miss most about the 8T was the short cuts or ‘gestures’ that you could use on the Lock Screen for music or camera and you could even assign gestures to activate your flashlight among other things .. I could change the shape of the Icons .. there’s an always on display that I feel was simple enough to change .. I know that people seem to be hung up on ‘speed’ and ‘camera’ but I remember one of my older LG’s that would take a picture just by saying ‘cheese’ or ‘smile’ now you have to ask Seri or Google // my last note (sorry for the rant) is on the Google Pixel 7 Pro .. the ‘Always Listening’ .. what a pain in the 🤬!! .. took forever to turn off the Always Listening and it still pops back on every now and again .. but now I have it to where I just have to say ‘Stop Listening’ .. OUCH

I think you're clearly demonstrating that everyone has their own specific preference in smartphones. You've got to make it work 'for you' so all the specs (e.g. relating to speed or the camera) might be less important for you.
It might be that the OnePlus phones suit your specific needs best!

I own a one plus 10T worth 50K in INR.. the camera and screen quality is totally disappointing.. one plus is dying.. don't purchase one plus..waste of ur money..

@@jagadeeshverri5523 I found a good deal on the OnePlus 10 Pro and am happy enough with it .. pictures aren’t too bad .. not like the Pixel 7 Pro .. but it’s a lot easier to manipulate to get it to do what I want .. I guess .. Use what you know 😜
