Can you try putting gbx 100 engine/module inside gbd 200 case/housing to see it fit or not? Like the gbx function but not its look. Certainly will buy gbd 200 if it has gbx 100 functions
I think cannot.. Gbx is Thicker then gbd.. 😅..or gbd is thicker..they Seems like
How tight do you go on case screws? I dont want to compromise water resistance.
I just let the mini electric screwdriver lock it till it stop, then I tighten it a bit like 10degree more or something. Just by feeling the tension. Definitely not too tight.

You'll need to scrap from any Casio watch. They uses the same clips. Buy the cheapest watch you can find, scrap, and sell the rest

Hi. Will the mechanism with MIP screen (entire white part) from GBX100 will fit to bezel of GBD200? I am thinking about it since the lime version looks much better than all orignal version of GBX100 :)

Same. I keep searching for replaceable/custom buckle but sadly found nothin. If only the buckle is steel. Back of my wrist feels itchy touching this plastic buckle
Same here - hate the buckle irritation and the plastic strap. With they’d made it easy to use adapters like the classic Squares.

Not possible. Their hardcase size & design shape is totally different.

Dip it hot water to soften the resin buckle a bit, use a reverse plier and just force it apart.

I have the new bezel and band and man I'm not gonna lie this seems like a lot of complication for a simple mod , my dwh5600 the bezel literally can come right on and off you can change it multiple time in a matter of seconds

WTF was Casio thinking about when they designed the resin for this model? This is a very bad design for Casio to place the screws for the resin cover behind each button. It makes it impossible to replace the resin bezel unless you open up the watch and take the module out and then remove each of the 4 button clips that are attached to each button from the inside of the watch case and then completely remove each button from the watch case in order to get access to the screw on the resin cover in order to remove the resin cover from the watch case. WTF!!!
This is a VERY horrible design and it makes it very hard for owners of this particular GDB-200 G-Shock to replace the outer bezel when their outer bezel gets old and cracks or breaks off the watch case. Most people do NOT know how to do this type of extreme disassembly to replace the outer rubber bezel on this particular model G-Shock. What a F'k'ing mess that Casio created when they designed this G-Shock.

They make it an inconvenience so that some people would just not mod their gshock and just buy different color instead.
Older gshock didn't have the same design because back then, custom replacement parts is very hard to come by. Today, is different story. Also check my recent Rangeman disassembly, you'd be pissed even more.
@@gshockhighfashion I never thought about that. You're right. Casio made this particular model very hard to replace the exterior resin bezel in order to deter people who own this model from modding it.
