  • EPISODE 2
We had the privilege of spending two days in the spectacular Zooridge area in the Koue Bokkeveld. It surpassed all our expectations!
Mia joined us on this trip and we show you what we found in three Episodes:
EPISODE 1: Aankoms Farm Shop, Water Pans and the unique Lovers Lane campsite. We’ve never experienced such a campsite before!
EPISODE 2: More Rock Arches and ancient Rock Art, some 8000 years old!
EPISODE 3: Zooridge Canyon and the exquisite Amber Cave. We thought we have seen it all, until we got to the Amber Cave! 😀
Thanks for joining us on this trip!

Nice guys 😊 Again, I just love the song choices!
The rock art was interesting to see, and so nice that such history is so well preserved.
I can only imagine the atmosphere around that crackling camp fire.
Nice to see you all joke around and have a laugh- mostly at Werner's expense who is such a great sport 😅
It's really wonderful that you all get to share such adventures and natural beauty together 😊
    Thanks guys ❤

Hi Kate! 😀 Thanks for your comments, as always we appreciate it very much. It is só good to hear that we are managing to pull you into our experiences 😀. We appreciate your confirmation that our song choices are good, this is one of the most difficult parts of the editing 😅. All the best!

Stunning cinematography and landscapes...the rockart is the "TH-cam" of that era.

Ah thanks for the compliment, we also really loved the vantage point our drone “Gogga” provided.

Hi Joanne, thanks so much for your comment. We agree, Zooridge is an absolute hidden gem. We knew almost nothing of Zooridge before the trip and we were blown away. We highly recommend a trip to Zooridge 😀

I was rendered speechless when surveying those gigantic and magnificently sculpted rock formations. The overwhelming feeling was of how small and insignificant we mere mortals are, when measured against such an awe inspiring landscape. I was aware of an ancient ‘spiritual energy’ and would have loved to be transported back in time to observe those early humans, sitting quietly, painting their beautiful art - I sat here, wondering how I could even begin to formulate an articulate comment for this video - and then, Annelie and Mia, you had me laughing out loud along with you - sorry, Werner, that you were the innocent catalyst for this outburst of delicious hilarity - we weren’t laughing at you, I promise. Just at the comedy of the situation.
Your calm composure and obvious enjoyment whilst negotiating that very sandy, slippery track was admirable. I was right there with your two lovely ladies, sounding my own alarm with each frightening lurch across the deep sandy track. You did an amazing job not getting stuck! I wondered what would have happened, had your trusty vehicle become embedded? You showed no fear of that possibility, and so I guess your energy simply rejected the possibility and kept you perfectly safe.
This was another superb episode and I feel so grateful to you all for including us on this adventure - I cannot imagine that I shall ever get to see it in person, but I truly felt that I was experiencing the ‘real thing’ with you!
I cannot wait for next Sunday’s upload 🫶🏻

Ah, Des, your comments are so much appreciated 😀. I agree with Annelie, you have a special gift to describe your feelings and observations in such beautiful language. We feel really honoured that you take the time to comment on our videos in this special way…
The sandy track was not so daunting, but in Ep 3 there is one part that had us a bit worried, you will see next week… 😅
About the comical parts 🤣 I agree that it was only my own doing and in the end I’m also laughing about this with all of you 😂
I also hope you are better and back at home. All the best, Werner 🙂

I had great news from my doctor today. No sinister causes, so I am destined to live a good while longer 😁👏🏻
