Loved this video & enjoyed everyone’s segments 😊 Trinity Trigger is another most underrated game of 2023. It came out in 2022 for Japan but it was released everywhere else earlier this year. It’s a Incredible game with amazing storytelling & beautiful music. If you love the mana series, you’ll definitely enjoy this game. The staff who worked on Trinity Trigger, also worked on Secret of Mana, Trials of Mana, Octopath Traveler, Chrono Cross, Bravely Default & Xenoblade so you DEFINITELY want to check out Trinity Trigger, if you love the games listed above 😊 Trinity Trigger deserves more love!💙💚
@@AzzatheAce thank you 💚 Trinity Trigger has been on my wishlist for quite some time now and now I am really convinced to play this soon. Thanks for the recommendation.
Fire Emblem Engage is my pick Voice acting ✅ Interesting characters with personality ✅ Exploring ✅ Challenging ✅ Amazing animations ✅ Beautiful art design ✅and interesting story ✅ also well done to every creator your picks was awesome to hear as well 🎉
The indie game, Fading Afternoon, would be my pick. I really fell in love with it and I think a lot of people would really enjoy it. Thanks for the vid, dudes.
Excellent games that released in 2023 and to my astonishment, flew completely under the radar: 1. The Last Faith 2. Cookie Cutter 3. American Arcadia 4. 9 Years of Shadows 5. Worldless 6. The Last Case of Benedict Fox
Ah a Metroidvania enthusiast, right? Thanks for all the recommendations. The Last Faith kind of annoyed me with it's combat. I maybe give another go at some point. Cookie Cutter was solid I just didn't like the last area. 9 Years of Shadow was alright for me, but artstyle and music are phenomenal. The Last Case of Benedict Fox is on my backlog because I heard mixed things about it. American Arcadia and Worldless are games I never heared of. I:ll check them out. :)
One of the most underrated game of the year is Paranormasight, a horror/mystery visual novel by Square Enix of all publisher. It has a super interesting story and great visuals but it was barely promoted in the west so almost nobody heard of it even though it got great reviews from those who played it.
I love collaborations! Especially when my favorite content creators are here. - Haven't played samurai remnant. Definitely like the art style of it. - everyone tells me to play start ocean 2.... And for some reason it's just not that intriguing to me. Don't know why. I love the sci Fi stuff. Phantasy Star 4 is one of my favorite games - I absolutely love how uppernimbus opens all his collabs. Wonderful. Rain code looks pretty fun. - I totally agree with basically all awards shows being ridiculous. I can't wait to get to trails into Reverie. I'm on sky third chapter - I'm the same as you P.E. I'm not into mobile gacha titles... You can get kos most in XBC 2???? - "I'm not a furry" is totally what a furry would say... - hi fi Rush looks so freaking cool. Those cell shaded graphics are my jam. Great video. Subbed now
I love collaborations, too. This was my first to feature multiple friends of the channel and it's definitely not my last. Thank you for watching and the sub, I appreciate that.
Granted, I know these won't all appeal to everyone, and I had to pare down from a longer list, but here goes (no early access titles, in release order): Caves of Lore, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, 24 Killers, Veil of Dust: A Homesteading Game, Shadows of Forbidden Gods, Book of Hours, Escape from Norwood, Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness, You Will Die Here Tonight, This Bed We Made, and Orten Was The Case.
Honkai Star Rail, made a billion dollars in half a year, has 20-30 million active players, definitely underrated. So much so that even the Game Award, which as mentioned is heavily Western biased, had no choice but to acknowledge it, since unlike other behemoth games that are only popular in the East, Honkai Star Rail actually has a pretty large Western playerbase.
That's right. Honkai Star Rail is popular, for sure. As my friend Public Enema said it was overlooked by him. The fact that this is a free to play gatcha game could turn people off. So I get why Public Enema picked this game, so that people give this game a chance regardless of the fact that this is a F2P Game. 😎
2023 was "one of the best years" for gaming, but only for those with short memories. About 2019, we entered into a slog for multiple reasons, mainly the economy. It's been desolate ever since. And finally in 2023 we started to return to normal. 2016 and 2018 ate 2023's lunch. Call it how it is.
@@feiitogaming(Seinfeld reference in this post, just to loop the loop). Hmmm 2023 I think I mostly caught up on games I had missed. Only lesser known game I bought in 2023 that released in 2023 was Sanabi but EA in 2021 and unplayable on Switch due to crashing bugs and slowdowns but had extatic reviews on Steam. Gunbrella is probably solid rated in the lesser knowns but only played the demo.
dunno if this was such a great year honestly but we had lots of games and many underrated ones from redemption reapers to lords of the fallen... wo long... so on and so forth: either they were largely overlooked or they were rated unreasonably low. So some of the games here I would not personally call "underrated".. maybe niche sure but hardly under-rated. Xtails or raincode I get it but Fate samurai is best rated Fate game on consoles so far (love it!)... Trails is eventually OVERrated... star ocean was a huge hit...
Totally agree with Lords of the Fallen. This game was way more fun than Lies of P and got too much hate for nothing imo. Also I get what you mean - the Terms Overrated and Underrated seem to be interpreted differently by people. I had a few comments on my Most overrated games video where folks said that the games on this list are not overrated, e.g. The Last of Us. Either way, I get what you mean and I won't argue with your point. 😎
@@feiitogaming by the way the last of us is so well rated that it is overrated for sure... anything with a 10 is overrated unless it starts a new genre in which case we can allow for some sort of honoris causa ;) I sure like the last of us and I also like last of us 2 despite the kinda forceful genderistic statement but I could not say it did anything new - it did very well something that others did before. And the story was good but kinda average American show good.. apart fro (SPOILER!) the cannibalistic twist that was memorable ;) if I look back and think about a game that left me impressed for its plot in the vita/ps4 gen I would say UltraDespair Girls.. a game nobody played and a game that had terrible reviews but also one of the most incredible things in terms of writing I have ever come across in video games. And consider I love Visual Novels haha... it's a spike chunsoft game, the danganronpa guys - also historically the ones that "invented" visual novels and could apparently sense the narrative potential of videogames first. It seams like I went completely overboard with my rumbling but Raincode is spike chunsoft too so we are back on track there u go ;)
this got randomly recommended to me, I'll block this channel solely because of 'reverie is underrated because it didn't win an award' wtf? also HSR, but at least the guy that stated it said he's not sure if he can say it's underrated
@@feiitogaming Uhh well with 75% of the AAA games that came out being broken on launch, the insane politics and monetization and garbage coming out. No, I'd say it was one of the absolute worst years of gaming
