- This video introduces the basic concept of phonetics by comparing it to the other branch of linguistics that studies about sounds, i.e., phonology. Three branches of phonetics are introduced through the illustration of speech production, transmission, and perception.

What I got and learned from this video:
Phonetics and Phonology are the study of sound produced by human. Commonly, we call human sound as "speech sounds". Phonology is studied about sound (internal part) and Phonetics discuss about sound and speech organ (external part).
