This unedited gameplay footage has been captured on PlayStation 5 in Quality Unleashed mode.
Biomutant is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2022.
The native PlayStation 5 version features faster loading times, HDR as well as DualSense and Activity Card support. Players will be able to choose between three different modes:
Quality Mode: Native 4K (with Dynamic Resolution) @ stable 30 FPS
Performance Mode: Native 1440p (with Dynamic Resolution) @ stable 60 FPS
Quality Unleashed: Native 4K (with Dynamic Resolution) @ up to 60 FPS
If you already own Biomutant on PlayStation 4, you can upgrade FOR FREE and bring your old save files and trophies with you.

I so wanted to love this game. From the moment it was announced that E3 years ago. It seemed to have everything I could possibly want in a video game. I can't tell you how disappointed I was upon beating it. There's nothing inherently bad about it, however it's completely underbaked and shallow. Had this game had a AAA team of developers behind it, it would have been a game everybody would be talking about.
It's a furry game. It was doomed to fail. Modern man isn't capable of creating anything new or interesting anymore. All they are able to create is narcissistic garbage these days.
I know I'm being overly aggressive and critical about humans=good/everythingelse=bad in media, but that's just because it disgusts me and offends me the more I see it, so I grow more and more hatred for the cliche the more prominent and oversaturated it becomes, and the more it becomes integrated into our minds that everything is evil and worthless except for humans and choice animals (specifically cats, dogs and horses). I'm at the point where I would rather play a mediocre game like bio mutant then a quote unquote amazing game like Elden ring.
For a small studio it was amazing. Anything can be better, this game was not bad.
@@brandonerrorcontentmissing4012 and honestly, a lot of it's issues could easily be fixed if they'd actually try. I'm surprised this game keeps getting advertised with its negativity. Maybe this game actually sold pretty well, and I love it to see a sequel that fixes a lot of its problems.
@@baalfgames5318 I would love to see a sequel also. It was a easy platinum but I played it all the way through, witch I can't say for most games.
@@brandonerrorcontentmissing4012 your right. It wasn’t bad at all. IT WAS HORRIBLE! to each is own. This was my most highly anticipated game. All it made me do was look at the state of gaming differently. Everything now a days is cookie cutter BS this game did not in any way shape or form meet any of my expectations. KENA: Bridge of spirits was made by a small team as well and was waaaaaaaaaayyyyy better than this monstrosity
I don’t care what the comments say. Play the game for yourself, I’m in absolute love with this game. Love it, I have pushed tremendous hours into this and looking forward to hundreds of hours more. Theres so much to do.
This game had a lot of potential. It wasn't the worst game and it wasn't the best. Just simply failed to hit the mark it was going for. I say give it a try but go in with an open mind.
To put it simply, it was a missed opportunity, co op is the one thing i really hoped they did and also dlcs

This game felt so empty and soulless. Like a $30 indie game without much to do being sold as a $60 AAA game. What a let down.

I don’t agree on the nothing to do front - it had just as many side activities and collectibles as any other recent open world game…it definitely isn’t a perfect game, but I think a lot of the hate it got was undeserved. Also important to remember that it is effectively an indie game

I know ppl are harsh on the game but I can say it's my absolute favorite not just for fun gameplay but it actually helped me with some bad feelings I was having. I will admit it's not some super aaa game but to me it's is and will always be 10 out of 10 thank you experiment 101 truely

4K 60FPS in a 1080p TH-cam-Video makes total sense to me... Never the less still a chilling game although it needed more time for the fine tuning.
That was my immediate thought.
The XBOX video they released is in 4k, I can only assume that 4k for this one is still being processes by YT?

I started playing the game but didn’t finish cause frankly I was pre occupied with destiny and apex. But what was wrong with it? Not cause I’m trying to defend it but genuine curiosity cause I saw a lot of people saying it was bad

I'm so freaking tired of this trend of calling games "empty". ENJOY THE SCENERY, THE ATMOSPHERE, THE VIBE. Stop being the equivalent of children who are bored on a hike because there's not something to do every 5 meters. Just enjoy the beauty of video games worlds for what it is.
You can defend this game for what it is, but not with a biased generalization of the quality of what a open-world game is at its core.
Some games just are "Empty" and devoid of substance. Get over it if a game is or not.
Just enjoy the games you have come to enjoy. Nobody is pointing a gun to our head.
You "can" play Biomutant for what it is because you personally choose to.
I did not purchase nor play Biomutant because personally I don't see it worth my money or time.
I personally prefer a Dragon's Dogma kind of fleshed out world.

People will complain about anything. I think this game was a great game and I can't wait to go back and finish it on PS5. It reminded me a lot about the Redwall book series.

Darksiders Genesis. Absolutely awesome game. It was not a Diablo style at all, just had the same overhead perspective. It was a single player or co-op action adventure. Game is truly amazing, go check it out!

This game is extremely janky, too overambitious for what the Devs can handle, and has an odd delivery with its narrative, but this reminds me just how fun the combat and roaming around the world was. This is one of those games I feel could have been great with a more realistic vision.

I might check this out next time it’s on deep sale. Just went to check and saw it listed at 60 bucks right now, and while I have a high tolerance for games people say are underwhelming, 60 is just not what I’m willing to pay for this one.

I'll say I got my money's worth but I will never, ever play this game again because my *time* is valuable.

I really didn’t get a lot of the hate for this - yes it had some issues, but there were more than enough unique ideas to make it one of the better recent open world games…and it’s still probably the best weapon crafting system in a game, plus ninja animals ☺️

Honestly I actually had a lot of fun with this game. It ain’t perfect but I definitely enjoyed it more than some overrated games like Spider-Man ps4 and Horizon zero dawn.
all that blurry backround really hurt my eye...why dev love doing this? i love my screen crisp all the time.

This game will always look so much better on PC for a simple reason : you can disable the atrocious and pointless depth of field.

Played this on PS4, the reviews are very mixed but this is one of the most beautiful looking game I've played, but too bad there's too many FPS drops on PS4.
Graphics wise, is this “a lot better” than on ps4 or is it just faster loading times?

The graphics themselves aren't really spectacular by any means, it's mainly the framerate
Fun game, poor presentation and overall structure. But the sheer volume of things you could do, and content was nice. I feel the RPG elements hold it back alot, and would have benefited from being more of a sandbox experience like just cause, than a character driven narrative like fallout.
It’s been in my wishlist since forever. I might give it a go now, as soon as I finish Deliver Us the Moon. That is.

I wonder if this is a native port or "just" a resolution increase and an unlocked framerate mode/1440p performance-mode. I hope other things like textures, texture filtering etc are improved, too...

I liked this game a lot but unfortunately I overrode my savegame where I completed half of the game with a new savegame stat and there wasn't enough motivation to play half the game again. I think with the PS5 version I will visit biomutant again :)

This gameplay is a little misleading..you wouldnt be able to go into the fire area unless you had the bio suit for the element or enough natural resistance to the element which I guess he could have but still these areas are definitely later game areas.
It's called a demonstration of graphics, using gameplay. Doesnt mean that the gameplay is factual.
So you just confirmed one CAN be in the fire area with natural resistance.

Mundo vacío, historia simplona e insustancial, un combate lamentable sin ningún tipo de feedback, un narrador tan nefasto que tuvieron que poner una opción para quitarlo del asco que daba.
