I keep seeing this EV3 in the Adventurine Green - Kia speak about 2 premium paints available, the Aventurine and Terracotta are being spoken about, yet when you look at the basic configurator the only green is Pistachio so is the Aventurine only on the demonstrator and not orderable? also some reviewers say that on the GT Line S that the premium paint is included. Not true when you go on the configurator
As an EV owner I am finding that the depreciation within months of delivery on a EV is completely unmanageable. I have a 2024 Top of the range Kona and I have lost in excess of £20k in 7 months?
Poor UK getting totally shafted by Kia UK! All other countries the GT Line has all the bells and whistles including a heatpump as standard as well as a 360 degree camera while now the UK adds a GT Line S and then has the audacity to charge extra for the heatpump even on the top spec! Here in NZ the EV5 gets a 360 degree camera on the Air plus which is one level above the base model and a heatpump as standard on the Earth or above!
Introduce a "budget" car ,and then charge over the luxury tax bracket for the top 2 trim levels (adding any other colour than orange to the GTLine will take it over £40k) doesn't make sense. A version with the HUD, the heated/cooled seats but no premium sound and relaxation seats would make more sense., and could well top out at just below the £40k threshold. They reduced the 800v to 400v to save money, but still made a car that costs too much. I'll stick with my Niro EV4

Are the batteries NMC or LFP?
This will be one of the biggest selling cars next year in the UK.

I was hoping for a price starting under 30k at this prices the tesla model y might be a better choice
Is there only one trim for the smaller battery version?
Correct. The standard battery comes in the Air trim. The Long range comes in Air, GT Line and GT Line S.

So no heatpump for the ev3?
Option only on the GT-Line S (£900).
A heatpump will be an option on the GT Line S. :)
@brayleys however important is the heatpump for the ev3?

@@Hakadekwith upto 372 miles combined range, is the addition of an expensive heat pump worth it?
For me, no.
It has wipers from the 1990's I have a 2022 xceed and the wipers are very poor.
It will come down in price very soon give it about 5-6 months from now on after more cheaper alternatives arrive from China.....
I won’t be buying yet until Kia UK update the spec in line with the rest of Europe. GT Line S has to have metallic paint n heat pump included
Terrible design
No. You may not like it,but that doesn't make it terrible. Rather, it means that it doesn't appeal to you.
Terrible design IN YOUR OPINION. 🤡
Another unaffordable car..... BS
