I thought Frank’s version captured the emptiness and confusion w/ missing someone who’s not ‘close to you’ anymore really well. Well enough to get me through my break up 😂 The Brad Pitt + Coachella performance has also solidified itself as a goated moment. Can’t help but love me some classics songs remixed by Frank Ocean

I can’t lie and say that every song sounds “commercial” because you can’t compare Nights or Self Control to Pretty Sweet or Facebook Story. It’s an album that you learn to appreciate with every track having its own unique visuals and storyline. Not even kidding I have a friend that whole heartily believes Ivy is the best track and other that believes it’s Nights and they go at it all the time. No disrespect tho cause you are just sharing your opinion. Also, my favorite track is too Self Control because it’s the only song on the album that made me ball my eyes out.
