Thanks, especially the info how the lever on the negative post works. Stopped halfway through to find a video for help and after trying a few that weren’t helpful, I came across this one and it’s the best! Thank you so much!🔧🔧🔧
Hahah you just blow past the annoying step im trying to figure out, getting that plastic cover off the positive end and where the hell its latched once you unscrew the nuts
Okay, helpful but I found out you can skip one of the steps demonstrated. You don't have to remove the three bolts to lift the positive. Just undue the two screws on the red piece and Loosen the bolt on the positive post. It comes right off.
@@Reggaebeardlife All good - thanks for posting this video! My anger was at the fuse panel lol (For those who came to this video for that reason, you don't have to remove any of the fuse panels separately - just undo the positive wire and those two little screws and you're good to go)
I appreciate that your van is just as clean as mine
Great job. Especially explaining the need to transfer parts from the old to the new.
Your video on TH-cam is the only one that is extremely detailed and helpful.
Thank you for posting.
Your video was a great help replacing the battery.
Thank you for making and posting the video
Aw man, that's the easy part! What about the battery reset/relearn procedure (or is there one)?

Thank you so much. About to replace the battery on my 2017 ProMaster so your video was most welcome. Thank you.
No problem glad it helped you
Very helpful video. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
DAMN! I'm glad I found your video. I never realized how much there is to changing a battery nowadays.
What size sockets and/or wrenches are needed? I don't have my full tool box handy.
Thanks alot. Clear and easy to follow.🙋🏻♀️😁👍
Thanks. This was perfect.
what size socket did you use on the small screws under the Panel
I had hell with that bracket on negative. 😡 appreciate the Video !! 👍🏾
Glad it helped
good video but after how many miles did you replace the battery?
So helpful
Thank you 🙏🏻
Perfect!
Was it flooded or AGM battery that you took out of the van?

Great video...just changed my battery and was super easy. The factory battery in my promaster lasted 8 years....is this normal?
Mine lasted only 3 years, your lucky.🙋🏻♀️
I bought used 4.5 years ago so I’m not sure if it was the factory battery but finally just had to replace mine today
I am replacing mine today. Lasted 9 years, 85000 miles.
Nicely done! promaster agm batteries can last for 5-7 years from what I read on promaster forum.

Thanks for commenting that’s very useful Knowledge
That fucking plastic cover thing blocks the whole battery and is obnoxious to get off

Awesome thanks
What year is your promaster
What year is your Promaster?😊
Thank you! 😊 MN
Thank you
You missed a whole step by loosening the clamp on the bolt. I had to watch another video on how to do it.

Skipped over the one part I needed help removing - that stupid fuse panel
