Yes, I expect AAPC to become more and more similar to AHIMA based on the changes we are seeing. And it makes sense because employers have to have confidence in AAPC credentials to know that people holding them can actually code and not just reverse engineer answers in a multiple choice scenario. The CIC also asks for fill in the blank answers. This is the future. I take it you are going for the CPC now?
@@arnellgalendez5583 Remember that you have been working hard and you deserve to pass with flying colors! It is a shorter exam with less questions with a tiny bit more time for each. Re-review the exact CPC exam setup on the AAPC website and make sure you have tabs and notes for everything mentioned in there. Have water / tea / candy on hand so that you won't sundown in the middle of the exam. :D You have got this!!
