This story hits me personally because I was a VERY sick kid growing up. To the point where I practically lived in the hospital. So you can imagine how much it impacted school for me at times. Yet even despite that, my Mom always made stay on top of my education as much as possible. And looking back at it, I'm glad she did. I sympathize with Nano, her family are scumbags for allowing Rena to be the way she was. If there's one thing I learned, it's that you should NEVER use being sick or ill as an excuse.

Parents who have a child who is sickly or has disabilities often sideline their other children like this. They give all their attention to the sick child and ignore the needs of their healthy children. The parents also feel they have to make it up to the sick child by not disciplining the child and allowing the child to do what they want. The parents in this story created a monster by spoiling Rena rotten.
Or they have another baby just to sacrifice for a kid that might not even live so then they would up killing one kid for nothing and end up with 2 dead kids

Nano knew her parents were toxic. She did the right thing to leave her family. Just because a child nearly died when sick is not a way to treat them as if it was their last day on earth daily.

The quote "Without a family, man, alone in the world, trembles with the cold" doesn't fit for Nano. She got rid of her family and had a much better life after doing so. Her family fell apart though.
A better quote should've been "Don't give 2nd chances to those who never gave you a first one."
Nano was right to have not allowed her family back in her life after everything fell apart. Rena went to jail and will be there for a long time for her scam. Now her parents are reaping the punishments of Karma.
The parents really wasn't a family to either girl. Too harsh to one while looking the other way to the other.

As the oldest child (who has been very sick), I feel this hard! I hate the phrase "you're the older sister". I was never the favorite, although I still received lots of love, I often had to sacrifice because "you're the oldest"

I was a sick kid and never was treated like this.
Even after Nano's parents went into depression after Rena was arrested they still don't realise their wrong doings and their spoiling their daughter Rena. They also still don't realise that what Rena was doing even though Nano told them about Rena. Well shame on you, i wish i post them to media and tell everyone that dad and mom are bad parents. They are not in the USA. Rena was planning on going to the States to study abroad. Some other countries have inexpensive, small housing options for students.
