As for the brother:
He is now broke and is living on the streets while the MC found someone new. The brother tried to steal the new girl away and tried to act rich but the girl saw through his facade and berated him. Daiki snapped and tried to attack his brother but the GF beat him down and the MC insulted him and told him that he is just a homeless bum. Daiki started throwing a tantrum and was crying like a baby and people started filming him and now he is a complete joke to society. He cannot get through the day without being made fun of and insulted. He started getting into fights with random people and gets beaten down as a result.
Later on he was spotted all crazy and talking to himself. He is in his delusion world where he thinks he is still a lawyer and the MC is a failure. He is completely broken and damaged.
As for the ex GF, she tried to call MC and asked to get back together but was denied and the new GF insulted her. The ex tried to tell the new GF about how much of a failure he was but then the new GF berated her and even threatened her and then the ex gave up.
The reason why she wants to get back is because she is in debt going for a married man and breaking up his family.
