Surprisingly, after the discovery of Mauryan dynasty, rest of the tale about chanakya's role in his victory was discovered suddenly. Pretty interesting!
This whole series should run on coursera as a course…. Loved it
Amazing series
You have whetted my appetite for indian history. Will this one lifetime be adequate for me to quench my thirst for knowledge about this culture that bubbles up from the recesses of time? Would I like to be reincarnated a hundred times to be born in this culture? The prospect is as tempting as terrifying , as I look into the past with growing clarity and into the future, with diminishing.
Excellent narration.
Thanks, another good episode. Just a couple of comments. First, I think Alexander died in Babylon, in what he had decided was going to be his imperial capital, and not on the way to back to Greece. Second, it might be good to note that Megasthenes' original Indika doesn't survive complete; what we have are fragments quoted in later works and reconstructions. Great stuff on Pataliputra though
Thanksa lot sir for your informative vedioes.
Excellent.🙏🙏
Tamil people fought the mauryans and defeated them, calling them aryapaada, meaning aryan army. Tamils were the last remaining dravidian peoples of the time after the northern dravidians were converted by the aryans
any resource to back this up?
