  • There is something magical about making a miniature building - scaling down the walls, windows and doors and creating a world of the imagination. The "brick" birdhouse featured in this episode is the result of my wanting to create an avian cityscape of birdhouses featuring iconic urban themes, all located in a flower garden by my rather rural home.

I had the privilege to see this as an early work in progress when I toured the shop in July. Utterly amazing. And Chris makes it seem so easy. He truly is a master craftsman. And he’s very humble and personable. I truly enjoyed my time visiting with him.

Saw this in person when visiting for a tour. It was crazy to see and irresistible to the eye. All the bricks have the soft sides and unique edges that make it look real. All the details made it uncanny realism. Whimsical but with a dark side to it as well with the realism.
