I love these podcasts but I get to hear people's life stories and that's fascinating and how they got to where they are now. And then sprinkled in about Katey and Kurt makes it even better. Great podcast you guys!
My admired Rainn almost crying talking about family and what is he sharing with his son, what a lovely person Rainn is♥ GOD BLESS HIM each passing day, and you both? I have to say that this was an amazing and very deep personal podcast, I started being curious about Rainn since I knew him on the office as Dwight; but my first thought was WHO IS HIM? for real? I was very intrigued, and I had an intuition that he wasnt just another actor, but someone special; and I was so nicely surprised and blessed when I started getting to know him by whom he really is, a very smart, spiritual, interesting and beautiful human being ! Im grateful to get to know Rainn as he really is! cant it be a more rich experience than this one, and I cant admire him even more ( or maybe yes?) :) great job
Really enjoyed this one! I read Rainn's book a few months ago and love his insights. And Kurt! Kindred soul! I love walking thru historical cemeteries! Nice tidbit about you. Great job Kurt and Katie. Keep it up!
One of the silver linings of alcoholism is understanding the lingo of the rooms. I, personally, don’t mind when public people break the 11th tradition. I think the benefit of directing people to a program that could help them outweighs the potential loss of integrity to the 12-step method. But I always feel a little bit special when they maintain the 11th and speak in code 😊
Just some feedback, his name was misspelled on the white intro screen a few minutes into it. Also, right before eating the pie the white screen had Maggie Siff’s info, not Rainn’s. Great episode though!
This podcast is like therapy! How did you become lucky enough to become an adult when you became a parent, Kurt? The term "adult" is filled with the weight of life experiences. Many believe they become adults when they become parents, but that’s more like an apprenticeship. During this phase, you're still someone's child, relying on a parent for advice, sharing thoughts, or simply hearing their voice. The first parent's passing doesn’t change this dynamic; you remain their child. True adulthood, in its full sense, often arrives with the loss of the second parent. This transition is challenging, as it requires confronting and resolving long-hidden issues to achieve a sense of freedom. I don’t like being an adult. I don’t like conformity. Now, the canvas is clear and free. I’m mama and grandma and in my return to childhood, now doing everything I want to do led by that kid I left behind decades ago.
Unpopular opinion, but it’s mine so it’s still valid: I can’t stand Rainn Wilson. I’ve tried to like him, I’ve been patient and waited to see where he’a going to take things and every time I’ve seen him in anything he hams it up and undermines what’s going on on-screen. I’m sure he’s a lovely man. I just think he’s a poor choice of actor - particularly so whenever he’s playing a Villain he comes across like he’s performing at a Pantomime - and I’m being generous here. Maybe he just needs to stop trying so hard and…Rainn it in. It’s not all about you.
You had me and then lost me, you’re in-tilted to your opinion of course, but at the end of the comment you put “maybe he needs to stop trying so hard” so just because you think he’s quite the trash actor he should stop trying hard at his job and what he does? And I don’t understand why you say it’s not all about him when you’re literally watching a podcast all about him lol.
@@BananaCologne wow so edgy.. here’s a thought maybe when you have an opinion and you don’t want anyone to respond to it don’t post it publicly then lol

Nice this was totally unexpected, I love Rainn, he's such a good man!
😂😂😂😂 awesome
The crossover we all needed 🤝
Sorry Rainn. I like to hear people eating on mic. Keep on eating that pie, Katey & Kurt!!!!
People literally listen/watch people eat. I'd love to see you judge the pies. Plus you're only eating pies, not chips lol.
