I’ve been watching them for 12 years now and there are times in my life when watching them is literally the best and sometimes only good part of my day.
I have loved these guys vicariously thru my children for more than a decade. Theyre quirky and strange and not for everyone. They are the real deal. And I found yall due to this episode. Cheers🎉

Kurt immediately pointing out that people are drawn to them and to GMM because of their friendship is so spot on! that's the main reason GMM works too. I wouldn't watch it if it was two other random people in their place.

Who would've thought that I'd be sitting here listening to Katey Sagal, who I watched as a kid on 8 Simple Rules and Smart House, along with Kurt Sutter, who I discovered through Sons of Anarchy as a teen/young adult, chat with the guys who have basically been my surrogate internet older brothers for a decade-plus. I really enjoyed this interview because you all seem so genuinely interested in each other as people, and you are absolutely right, that whether we are conscious of it or not, when we see people connecting, we are drawn to it!
I loved this! I am a huge gmm fan and it was super interesting to watch this sort of interview with someone who doesn’t know as much about Rhett and Link’s background and is curious about it. And I also feel like because they’re in a similar age group they can relate in this way that younger podcasters can’t really.

Respectfully this channel could use better SEO to really maximize your views!! For example, change to more legible font for people to read small thumbnails. And the biggest issue: You have two of the biggest TH-camrs and not one mention of "Rhett and Link" in the title?! Most passing viewers will only see a passing few words, and Good Mythical Morning isn't even mentioned until the end of this long title.
53:29 I haven't lived in the US since the show started. Past 6 years I was in Vietnam and Cambodia and depending on daylight saving time IT cam on at 5 or 6 pm. PErfect for right when i got home and cracked a beer and got ready for dinner and bed. Now in Japan it comes on at 8pm. Still haven't got my groove around it. pretty sure I will get there soon or just start watching episodes 22 hours late.
I watch GMM, GM More, GMK, Dispatches From Myrtle Beach and Wonderhole. These guys and the crew make me laugh and feel alright. Rhett is all about his image and money and Link is more down to earth and can't help but be himself. Link and his Dad's show (Dispatches From Myrtle Beach) is THE feel good show every week or two. I can't say enough about it. It's beautiful.
My town I live in is so small and rural that my childhood elementary school went to 6th grade and then you moved to high school in 7th grade to finish up until 12th grade, but it was the same building just on the other wing of the building. The entire school from K-12 shares the auditorium, swimming pool, and nurses office that are mostly is in the middlish of the building. I am the same age as Rhett and Link. The school is still that way now.
Meanwhile, there's 6 high schools in my city, just built a 7th, all with their own elementary & middle school buildings... none of them have a pool. Lol

There were a few episodes a few years back where he was just sick of the show for whatever reason.... might have been an argument with Link or producers but there was a couple weeks where Rhett 100% needed a break and was kind of open about it. Same thing happens with Link from time to time even more than Rhett but it seems like Link is mad at someone and not having to do the show the way Rhett was. Call me crazy or tell me you saw that too.
