- Join doll collector Cheri Miller in Wisconsin for a whimsical tour of her fabulous doll collection. 6:28 I gasped when she held up the Cynthia doll. That is my ultimate dream doll!! I just discovered her recently in a thread in a doll group and I have been obsessed ever since. This is the first time I have seen a collector hold one up. She is darling. Thank you so much for sharing.

My favorites are: her African American Doll Cynthia with her yellow Dress, yellow bow as well as her yellow socks, Madame Alexander Wendy Annes with the pink and blue dresses, Giggle Doll, Composition Shirley Temple Doll, Paddington Teddy Bear with boots, American Bitty Baby Twins, Meg and Mike Porcelain Dolls, and the Tiny Betty Doll in Pink Pastel dress:)!! And I too have a Madame Alexander Doll, Snow White, that my Late Grandfather bought me for my 10 Birthday and I still have her:)!! Cheri Miller has a beautiful Doll Collection and it is so cool that her Husband is supportive of her Doll Collecting Hobby:)!!

Love all your dolls. I also have that pink wolverine kitchen set, but I’m missing that wringer washer. The cupboard your dad made is so precious. Love how you have decorated it with that red tin cooking set. I have those too. You are so blessed!! Thank you so much for sharing. I love wringer washers and remember washing clothes with Grandma Junio in her wringer washer!!!

Absolutely love this video. In grade school I walked our little neighbors boy to and from school. I put a black haired Chatty Cathy in the layaway. She was such a fun doll and I was proud to have payed for her with money I made . So many favorites in this collection. Thanks for sharing

I love your doll room. I collect Tiffany and Tuesday Taylor dolls and my main interest is dolls from the 1970's.
A darling, near perfect condition collection! I am so impressed with all of the accessories that fit with the dolls. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed her saying how some of her dolls have escaped and not to tell he husband, aka camera man.

I loved this video and so many things about it:
1. Ms. Cheri's tasteful but artsy outfit and jewelry
2. Display and decor. I love the different props. And they are spaced out so each one can be appreciated
3. Love that her husband gave her a dedicated doll room but said keep them all in there 😅 I got to take over the smallest bedroom in our house as a wardrobe and just recently began collecting fashion dolls...running out of room for my clothes, purses, accessories and dolls.

OK, Cheri is my "doll collector sister by another mother"! My favorite dolls to collect are vintage hard plastics and compo. I, too, always wanted a Chatty Cathy as a child but never received one. It was one of the first dolls I purchased when I first started collecting a little over 40 yrs ago. I always loved Shirley Temple movies and have collected several Shirleys in different sizes. Love the Dionnes, and have one set in a playpen though I also have a few other compo quint dolls. I, too, have started really enjoying Dewees Cochran dolls. I have 2 Buddy Lees and a Skippy and many many Madame Alexanders. I have pretty much filled a bedroom and a bonus room with my collection, but will always manage to find room for at least one more!. Thanks for the tour.

Cheri, I love your doll collection and your narrative was excellent! I have a few dolls from my childhood which have barely survived moving and haircuts, though the one I really loved was taken out of our storage by my uncle and given to his daughter. This baby doll is one I've looked for many years. My sis and I had the Toni perms also, and I think I must have one of the dolls! Though sis and I love dolls, my daughter and her daughter never really did, which has been a big disappointment for me! I also loved laundry and ironing (no more) and I still have my toy electric iron and a small collection of old irons, some of which I use for quilting. Interestingly, I understand that the black dolls were not popular with black children as they preferred the white ones. Whether that was true or their families could not afford the dolls, or both is still a question. Thank you for showing us your dolls. I could spend hours looking at each one in detail.
