This has been driving me insane for a whole year and 1500 dollars in mechanic costs.. This one did the charm, now I don't have to drive around and be embarrassed! Thank you so, so, so much!
Omg Thanks so much. It started making that noise this afternoon and I nearly cried due to having work done on the crank pulley which shattered last week. Been searching a while for a video of this noise too. I’ve subscribed and liked your post, thanks again.
Thanks for this video @aaanton11 !! This was driving me nuts, embarrassing, and I'm sure bothering every pedestrian or anyone driving with their windows down! Fixed my squeak in the rear suspension using this trick. I used White Lithium Grease as I read somewhere that this wont damage the rubber. Yeehaw to a squeak free drive! Edit: This was on my 2104 328i F30 XDrive
This is why you don’t replace the bushes unless they are due !! People throwing are money 😂 😂 just re lube , your replacing bad bushes fair enough otherwise use common sense
Thank you! This worked for me on my 2013 3 series F30. My mechanic couldn't find the issue, but your video helped me fix it I used 3-in-one silicone lubricant as I think it is safer on the rubber and I used silicone gasket sealant adhesive to seal the hole which seemed to work nicely (I thought it would be more flexible than superglue). Thanks again! The noise was driving me crazy!

Brother, i hope you'll answer my cmnt I have the same noise on rear right side... I can't fix it this month (for business work no time for me 😢) My question is that dangerous for driving at maximum 20 days till i'll repair it ????

@@aaanton11 Just did this and it worked!! No more squeaking. This has driven me insane the last few months..! Is this a fix youve experienced works for long or did you have to ‘top off’ or rather change the bushings eventually?
Can you use white lithium grease for this job? Desperately need to get it done tomorrow but don’t have time to get wurth. I also have gt85 as well if that works
Hi mate thinking of using Plus Gas Fast Release Dismantling Lubricant (lubricates, cleans, protects and displaces moisture). What do you reckon as an alternative for Wurth as I can’t wait the sound is driving me insane. Also how do you recommend re-sealing the hole.

I got something similar on my f31 3 series after driving thru some deep snow and slush mixed with salt, it's not as bad as in the video but I'm going to give it a try and will return with some feedback. Thanks for the video hope it will help
Did it work? Rear back wheel on my f20 is squeaking after driving through slush and salt and it's probably one of the most annoying issues i've had so far
Ive got my bushings replaced and new coilovrs installed but still facing the same squeek. I need to doubke check if the shop replaced that exact bushing upyou dhow. The squeek is quite aggressive and happens even driving on a straight road.
Hello. Great video. Thank you so much. But there would be no issues, after opening a hole to rubbers, right? The silicone won't come out? I mean is that a permanent solution or just until find the money?😂
Same noise on my bmw 1 series, It only makes a squeaky sound on rough roads but it's quiet on a smooth roads and humps,I was told by mechanic that it maybe shocks but Im just not sure...maybe I should try this first.
I just tried it now and the sound stopped. Used some silicone oil from wd40 as i had seen people say to use it in the comments. Exited to see how long it will last or if the sound will come back after going into some water
I have this problem and a separate problem as well in a F30 328i with base suspension. Any passenger who sits in the rear at speeds of 100 km/h + notices that the car is way too unstable and floaty. This happens to the point of asking me if I am speeding and to slow down and I almost always drive UNDER the speed limit. The car also doesn’t feel planted at turns and I take them at lower speeds than I would take another car. It just feels floaty and unstable like an old camery or something. Is this a common issue? And if so, can I fix it?
I would be looking for more simple things like tyre pressures, different brands of tyres on the rear axles, maybe shock absorbers, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
