Here's another interesting fact: In the 2016 Nintendo Life interview, producer Kensuke Tsukanaka would like to continue the series if enough players demand it. Also last year, composer Yuzo Koshiro tweeted about wanting to rerelease Brave New World opening song on streaming platforms and other Project X Zone games on modern consoles. After these statements, I would like to see that happening for the fans who support the series. From the characters, story, and interaction dialogues, it would be phenomenal to see that for real. Whether it is a collection including the Endless Frontier games, a remake, or a sequel, let's hope that the developers and the publishers will pick up the series and continue forth for our heroes and villains.
Before going into this video: FINALLY PROJECT X ZONE 2 VIDEO, LETS FUCKING GOOOOO It’s my favorite out of all the cross series to be honest so super excited to see you talking about it. After video: yeah overall there wasn’t really much to speak on with the story wise besides it being that there’s new characters interacting with each other to fight a common goal. It sucks that most of the important figures for the series left and development crew are working on different games, certainly and with that the series seems to really be on that hold for god knows how long. Like you said at the end of the video, I also believe that would be awesome to see xiaomu and reiji back in a new xenoblade chronicles game or maybe just a new genre of games in general for me. If that were to happen, I’d honestly pick up the game day one. Lastly, thank you so much for going through the whole series! It’s been an amazing journey seeing you reviewing this niche awesome game and it’s almost sad that’s how the series end off! Can’t wait to see more content for you and yeah just continue being awesome!
YEEEEESSSSSS IT'S HERE!!! :D I'll miss this retrospective series so much since this is the final video made for it 😭 Here's to hoping a 3rd Project X Zone game happens!
I remember when the game came out I missed the super robot wars characters as they looked the most unique and weird among the cast of 1. Haken Browning, Kaguya Nanbu and the Gespenst Phantom were cool even got me to try their original game when I came across it one day. Later I learned they had their own crossover shenanigans happening in OG Moon Dwellers. Makes me wonder if Reiji and Xiaomu could end up in the main OG universe one day
Brief spoilers to PXZ1 and 2 So right at the end! I really want the OCs to return in a Xenoblade game, but I'm hoping for their solo games. Although Reiji and Xiaomu are more beloved than Kogoro, Mii, and Oros Phlox (one of its three proud fans), the duo does get overshadowed by the more popular and recognizable IPs, and there were a couple of writing choices that I didn't like for Xiaomu in 2 (she makes too many references in the English translation that it becomes a huge chunk of her personality). So, solo games could give the OCs so much lore that isn't rushed (the Portalstone plot twist in 1) or left on a cliffhanger (ending of PXZ2).
I'm definitely interested in a ranking for the series! I agree with so much in this video. This is the best game in the series because the meat of the game, the story, is finally complimented well by the gameplay. Sadly, it seems this game wasn't as big of a success as Bandai Namco wanted it to be. But here's to hoping we get some sort of rerelease in the future, or even an actual sequel! Also, I'd like to mention that Soichiro Morizumi is still working on Super Robot Wars games, and has actually been working in the Arknights series! He's written two drama CDs that are very popular, so at the very least he's still doing good work.
Project x Zone 2 is an improvement over the first game and i like it but man, the flaws are still really apparent. The cast is a massive plus, Kiryu, Majima, Ryo and Axel are the best additions by far and also there's lame additions like Chrom and Lucina replacing the Valkyria Chronicles reps just to promote Fire Emblem Awakening on the same damn system (Sorry FE fans) and Ingrid, just Ingrid.

Thank you for doing this OMG it's been awhile I've been waiting!
It was a long ride but sure worth it. I will still wait for a third game for as long as it takes.
Same here hopefully they bring it back and put it on the newer console

Time to spread the support to our creators to make this happen!
