Nice job! I have a large South Carolina pine that was just cut down that I'm going to carve. The stump is still in the ground. Should I wait awhile to dry out before cutting or can I do it now? Quite a bit of sap coming out now. Thanks!
Just carve it now, a big stump will log will take years to dry out in the round especially someplace humid. Then pick a spot you're ok with it splitting and do a small ¼-½" deep relief cut. I recommend the front of the seat instead of the back or armrests.
Thank you. Not worried about the haters, I used to make these and sell them for a living. I've had famous Smithsonian Institute artists purchase from me and put my pieces with their personal collections. Share your process if you get a chance
This could easily pass as Silent Hill 6 soundtrack. The"woodcutter" just got 2 big ass stumps because a storm. The chair is practice the Big one is a throne. I'ma need help from my papa and nephew for artistic vision, but this is a beautiful video Sir. Go do some projects with your family everyone. I sure as shit am.
I'm only worked with pine, fir, & cottonwood. Pine cuts and finishes the best out of those 3. I've seen hard wood examples but plan on extra time if you want tool mark free finish.
Great job my friend, enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing, keep looking up!
Thank you. Will be back at it again soon here after the back heals up

buen trabajo!. excelente manejo de las herramientas ¿es necesario una espada de motosierra tan larga?
that is such a beautiful chair ! ! Maybe try taking the handle and guard off the grinder?
Fantastic work,
Thank-you.
Made a similar rocking chair out of a burl I found in river from a piece of driftwood. Very satisfying to have something you made with your own hands
Congratulations on your first videos! Looks good! Love you!
Great job, I've made a few two cut chairs gonna have to try this now. The people that don't like this video probably don't even own a saw.

Super
Nice i like the chair
Красиво! Класс!
What wheels are you using on the angle grinder
I have carbide burrs but honestly if youre just planning to make a couple of them 40 grit flap disc and a 120 flap will do in a pinch
Simple but effective
What kind of wood works best?

Rather hear the natural sounds rather than music
Wow!
Great content but the music is annoying
Les dimensions ?
dear jerk ' my old lady wants these now .. like 10 of them ....she is throwing fits because she thinks it only takes like 3 hours ..
By the 10th one you should have it down to 3hrs 😂

I regret everything
There are many similar projects in Woodprix's plans.
