Boss really cares for his workers. Nothing but the best safety equipment there. The children are a nice touch. Keeps the older guys working as hard as they can knowing when their lungs are full of dust a new generation is right there ready to step in.
And we in western europe complain, when i see this Whoooo then we have it like kings. and for what "" they work for a few rupees". also the old man his age. not normal anymore.
I have an original Laguiole with a corkscrew, and frankly, this product is indistinguishable from the original because it is of high quality. Greetings from Morocco to the Pakistani craftsman because he is creative and finds solutions to all repairs
I bought a French made Laguiole knife and I can tell you the quality control has been supplanted by an exchange service. I had to finish it myself, a dint in the cutting edge and swarf on the spring. It remains a favourite piece of cutlery, but I have more respect for these gentlemen producing what they do in difficult circumstances.
This is shit!! Real knife makers make their knives with the best materials, steel, wood, etc. Each knife is unique, not like that crap, plus it's worthless, it doesn't cost anything! A REAL Laguiole costs at least a hundred euros! I have a Laguiole that my wife gave me... It's 42 years old, and it's still impeccable! I highly doubt their shit will last that long! Lifespan of this “thing” 1 year, 2 at most! I call it counterfeiting!🤬
What a fantastic process. It's so well organised and such a smooth operation. Whats really impressive though is how clean the "factory" was with the chap in the background sweeping up, a place to be proud of.
These people make do with what they have.Hats of to them. They have a huge market for them,in countries that cannot afford the French knives.Well done.-from South Africa.

Amazing on what people consider quality.... At best these are thrown into the bottom of a tool box in hopes it will function when all other opinions are out...
I greatly respect these hard working people. It’s sad that they are hard working in such conditions….safety is really non existent….if they become injured, then I guess it’s too bad so sad and they become beggars squatted on the street. This is what certain people call “the good ol days” of which we are headed towards if we allow it here in America.
The „bee“ or the „Fly“ is not a part of the spring however comparing it with my original I do not regret - those knifes have nothing to do with Laguilole. However-there is real craftmenship behind it. So-no offence 👍

Tip of my hat for these skilled workers, but for 150 years these knifes were made in factories with modern tools. Technologies assisted by automatic machines are preferable.

Just adding a table grinder to the mix for further blank processing would raise the quality so much

The „French“ in „French knife“ is a very wide interpretation of semantics.
It's a Pakistani version of the French laguiole. But definitely not a true laguiole.
Recently I have never seen anything like this. It's a fantastic artistic work from start to finish
These are unauthorized knock offs being made in India or Pakistan. The real knife is made in France.
It’s still a bloody nice knife and will be built as good as any handmade knife.
