I was going to finish it so I put it in the bucket of my tractor to bring it in the shop and it fell of the bucket, hit the ground and broke in half. So I burned it. :(
That is one awesome chair. A lot of hard work going into making it. I commend you for your dedication to making a beautiful work of art from a section of a tree trunk. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us.
Good video. Gives ideas for my 45’ pine tree that fell in my yard. Only thing is you have all the toys, I don’t. So I’ll have to figure it out Greetings from Los Angeles

Just watched the video, shame about the mishap with the tractor. But golly gee that drawknife is so sharp, the thin slices it was removing...I've seen thicker potato chips (we all them crisps here in UK) in a bag!!
hate it at the end, cant see the finish product because two large pop-up youtube videos appear blocking almost the entire screen. this happen often when i see diy craftmanship videos like this.
Would have looked better if you left the bottom solid, three legs ? uhn you lost me there. Possibly carve the chair back spindles in place, and possibly four legs with more detail ?
When can we see the finished chair? Looks nice so far!

Buen trabajo amigo,👌👌
👏👏👏muito bom trabalho.
May I ask what brand is your wood shaving plane ?
Nice chair, in Norway we holow them out from the underside and peint them in roses patern after old custom.
Thank you!
Wow....good
Nice woods art fall river springs
Fantastic....
Parabéns ficou ótimo.
Is it going to be stable with three legs?
Omg so cool
It would look better with a solid bottom just my opinion
True surreal tho!
That’s what I thought too, leave it solid. Plus it would have saved him work.
Nice work. What is that blade called on your grinder?
Turbo planner
Great work
Beautiful chaiir.
Lindo trabajo de arte
Muy buen trabajo
Great hard job 👍
Good man
The draft knife getting pulled across the footing looked like shaving cheese. That was awesome and now I'm hungry.
The draw knife on the end grain was very satisfying, it look like you were shaving soap
good job...
Can you Make the chair visible. The advertisements are blocking the finished product.
upss very nicee..:)
Good lumber support
😁😁😁 ces trop super ça
Perfeita
Man,that draw knife is sharp!
he is using it wrong the blade should be the other way
I THINK it looks nice, but there were popups for other videos covering the reveal at the end so I couldn't get a good view of it :-(
Do you know how tall it was and the diameter ??:)
Respect frate
Where did you find the spokeshave?
jujijo16 it's a drawknife. Leevalley.com $60.00
Fffffff frumos
Muy bien pero falto la lijada
Verynice
on the last part 6:26 it looks like cutting cheese!! LOL
I think it's an inestable chair
Sharpen a 3/4 inch boxed end wrench best kind .
Just watched the video, shame about the mishap with the tractor. But golly gee that drawknife is so sharp, the thin slices it was removing...I've seen thicker potato chips (we all them crisps here in UK) in a bag!!
Top
What kind of wood is that?
Aspen
Hooo,exelente
What wood is this?
Aspen
Thanks
couldn't see finished product because of your ads of other stuff done.
That log Barber chaired😉
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How long did the log have to dry before you started cutting?
The tree had been cut 7 months before. I Can't see why you couldn't carve immediately after cutting the tree.
Bravo
Watch the whole video in anticipation of your finished product and you put links on top of it.
Muito Bom
Mucha madera para una silla to much wood only one chair
