One thing, you were able to summon dragoon with a dark magician from the deck and the red eyes from your hand and thus by draw With soul servant you have 2 cards in hand.
I Just do not see the logic behind the circle+servant chain. You basically miss out on one xtra non random draw. If you just circle too choose your draw, and then servant to stack and then remove it from play you again draw the card you want.
You circle to guarantee the card you want. And can use servant to draw 1 of the remaining 2 cards. It has a better success rate than using circle and not seeing any DM card.
I know this comment is late and you probably figured it out by now but it doesn't matter if DM wasn't in your GY because Soul Servant lets you draw if the cards are in your GY or on the field.
I was just curious because I don't remember if you had it in there but are you running dark magician the dragon Knight? Most people nowadays expect you to bring out dragoon and that sometimes can be a better alternative to dragoon.
It’s very bad to play traps in DM Deck. Take out the torrential, judgement, and if you play strike take those out too. Play more consistent cards! There are tons of spellcaster engines out there. Example: Spellbook magician of prophecy, “ “ of secrets, and “ “ knowledge. Those 3 cards go 5 cards deep into your deck It’s technically 4 cards deep but you can look at it as 5 lol
See, I don't feel like I need to dig that deep into the deck because this deck has so many searchers. I always want cards to back up dragoons like strike, and torrential. I don't see the need to dig.
Hey Magical you clearly don't play competitively. You NEED cards like judgment and torrential/evenly matched because of people over extending, using Imperial Order, and Anti spell fragrance.
I use 2 solemn judgements 2 eternal souls and 2 imperms and those are my traps. As a dark magician play I recommend 3 solemn strikes or maybe 2 solemn judgments and a strike but that just depends on the dark magician player.

This was a great video but I’ve been playing master duel and dragoon is on the banlist. And I don’t know what would be a good enough substitute.

Soul Servant counts Dark Magician and Girl on the field and in the GY, it says that on the card.
