i can only recommend using eyes of timaeus for summoning dark magician the dragon knight. he protects every spell and trap card on ur side of the field which means, eternal soul is protected from effects. and since the dragon knights effect also renames itself into the dark magician, he is protected from the eternal souls effect of being untouched by effects. i often saw how many players struggle w this combo and i dont how how many wins i got because of it
It is a good combo, but it is not invulnerable, especially with recent meta of effects that send backrow cards to the graveyard or things that spin cards to hand or deck

i would like a red-eyes optimized deck just like this one, there's almost no love for the low-tiers in Master Duel
I recommend you Boyan's channel. He is specialized in Dark Magician AND Red-Eyes and has pretty much optimized both decklists.
He also plays Black Luster Soldier.
If you search Boyan red eyes you should find what you are looking for.

Definitely! Red Eyes has such great potential, just missing a few key cards to really take it over the top.
I would like to see optimized synchrons. I feel a lot of nostalgia around that mechanic. Its been about 10 years since I really played yugioh and master duel got me back in. While i have fun learning and playing whats meta at the moment I always feel like I want to try synchrons so learning those play patterns would be great.
Synchrons is one of the hardest decks to learn and really bad. sadly. there are synchron decks on MDM
Synchros are the best right now in master duel

@@steroitzz main reason is because they are expensive and another reason not many people know how to combo them. Easily a top tier since new synchro support came out

Dark magicians is just one of the things I like to see. Though learning Master Duel from Duel Links isn’t really easy for me but I am curious with blue eyes, red eyes and as a wildcard Aromas

I was frustrated as fuck getting back into YGO as a new player who hadn't played a single match since childhood. I was and still am determined to run a deck built around my favorite card, dark magician. Building it with all the new support cards was so much fun. But after a certain point I got repeatedly assblasted and started to feel like it really wasn't possible to use a deck built around one of the oldest cards in the game. Your video singlehandedly turned my deck entirely around and now I'm shooting for platinum, further than I ever expected to get. Even just adopting a few of your strategies (didn't have the mats to craft everything) got me win after win and now my friends are terrified of Dark Magician, as they should be. Best believe I hit that sub button lightning fast! Thanks for showing me why my boy is TRULY the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense!
I’d love to see an optimized synchron deck! You teaching the combos always helps a lot when I’m trying to learn a deck!
6:12 I think you should’ve sent the Eternal Soul on the field to the graveyard for that draw. That way, your opponent doesn’t know which one is Eternal Soul and can’t just single it out if they have a random MST. It’s effortless yet it can yield results.
Got a few searchable cards at 3, particularly eternal soul. Could make space for more hand traps or alternate tech like mahad/illusion apprentice.
How many eternal souls u recommend? 2?
@@LittleBoyOfHope Two would be a good place. Soul servant can recycle it if gets yeeted off the field. I'd 100% put in like another --ash-- Ghost ogre or something. but then again there's also the option the keep it at three to maintain magicians' souls draw power.
At 3 you wouldn't need a hand trap if you can just search and draw like a motherfucker.

Solid list my guy. Only thing I might suggest would be potentially cutting an ash and a called by for double droplets, they're super important in MD format. They have a lot of nice interactions besides the obvious like getting bricks out your hand into grave to make soul servant draw effect live, adds a little going 2nd flexibility too.

I made a witchcrafter deck recently and it preforms very well, but it's missing something. So I agree.
I wouldn't play 3 of circle, Dark Magician, and Eternal soul. Circle and eternal soul are searchable, so you should only play 2 Dark magician, circle, and eternal soul at most. They can become pretty bricky in a deck like this.
Yeah then he'd have 3 slots open. One could be for the 3rd Maxx C and the other 2, for me I've really enjoyed 'Bond Between Teacher and Student' and 'Dark Burning Magic'.
@@efrainlagunas he'd have 4 slots open, illusion magic isn't worth with only 2 DM in the deck, this slot could be Mahad ou Apreendice ilusion
And with 3 max c he can run 2 upstart, open up 1 slot for magicalized fusion (putting one quintet magician in the extra deck)
@@raulsdrsd I wouldn't take out 1 upstart for having 3 Maxx C. Maxx C only works if you're going second so to take out upstart is taking out consistency for when you go first. Since Master Duel is Bo1 then you're odds going first is 50/50. Upstart works for both going first and second to add another point but yeah I'd consider Magicalized Fusion as well for illusion magic. Personally, I'd take out Dark Magic Attack for Apprentice or Mahad. While that card can destroy backrow, it's bricky and most of the time you just want another DM on board to push for game.

How do you use ebon illusions effect to summon another dark magician. When he comes to the field I never get the prompt to activate his eff. I've been away from Yu-Gi-Oh! so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or experiencing a bug. FYI playing on ipad
as someone who has no experience of YGO outside of MD, I'd love to see a series where you explain ways to counter x deck, what would be the best to stall them (or kill their process to summon boss monster), when and where is the best timing to use handtraps, etc.

I found extremely useful advanced features like the toggle button and the "missing the timing" explanation, now I know what to look for. Maybe a deep explanation about soft/hard once per trun like how do I know.

Optimized Gladiator Beasts would be awesome to see. It was my favorite deck when I stopped playing during the Synchro era and have wanted to see it work since I started playing Master Duel.

I would like to see Gladiator Beatss with the TriBrigade engine. I think that deck could actually do some damage. You don't even see decks for it on the master duel meta website :(

You make good points. I always lose when I lose my traps, makes it hard to summon my dark magician combos...Especially those 1 turn decks that do so much, and Im just trying to get a dark magician to move around
I would love to see an optimized world chalice deck. It would be a really good budget choice for a deck and I'd love to dkayed's ingenuity put to work on it. It has a lot of different ways it can branch out into, and your get pretty much all the core cards for free. Everthing about the deck is so cool, from the lore to seemingly infinite combos for BIG boards.
Watching You Banish every Single Eldlich is one of the Most Satisfying things I have ever seen in a Master Duel Video and that made my Day, thank you. I would like to see you Play the best possible Harpie Deck, maybe even Harpie Tri-Brigade, I Love Harpie's and Tri-Brigade and have tried to build a Deck with both of them but I have issues with making the Deck have only 40 Cards. I watch all of youre Videos and am allways entertained by them.

As a new dueler i would love to see a video explaining when and where during the combo you negate these Meta/Popular decks (Most of the time i find myself using my Imperm or Effect V on the wrong card or maybe there's a best time to Nibi rather than just on the 5th summon?)
Best time to use Nibiru is at the end of main phase 1
I think plunder patrol would be a great deck to show. You can have a lot of handtraps and it has a good board first or second and is just genuinely fun to play

I would love to see raidraptor deck since it has the power to lockdown opponents cards and negate their effects. It doesn't seemed to be used too often by others.

During the syncho festival i couldn’t craft a new judgement so I used starlight road to counter Hapries feather duster or lightning storm on my back row so if anyone needs another option there is it. And it can summon a stardust dragon but it’s an option to cheat it out and negate something

i would like to see pendulum magician coverage. everyone thinks the only thing we can do is ftk but we have sooooo many variations. we have the ability to raigeki during the opponents turn which i think would make for nice content.

I would like to see an optimized kuriboh deck! I just think that'd be hilarious! I've made a kuriboh-Exodiah deck, but I'm new to Master Duel and hadn't played Yugioh in years prior, so I just threw together what stuff I could think of and made it a super slow kuriboh deck that SURPRISE has Exodia out of nowhere and the opponent never knows 🤣 but someone like you who knows way more about the game would probably make a much faster one
I use starlight road for solemn. I only have one solemn, so far the starlight road has done good since it also protects me from eternal soul when it blows up
I would like to see maybe a good plant deck, or maybe a modernized insect deck, or a good synchron deck would also be fun. Maybe modern plant synchro that's playable? just tossing around a few ideas.

Optimized Six Samurai seems kinda fun tbh, the amount of summons they can do is pretty crazy so I'd like to see them optimized to the fullest
