Thank you. New part installed. My original had a tiny cable connected to it but my replacement board didn’t have a port to clip it into. Hope it’s not a necessary part. Anyway, device has started charging again! Thank you for the guide.
Thank you so much! I didn't have the money to get my son's tablet to a professional. But with the proper part I ordered, and your help of guidance. I was able to get it fixed. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I gave myself a change to fix it rather than deal with repair kiosks, and your tutorial helped me a ton. Subbed. Thanks again.
What if the new one doesn't work at all the old one works slow charging and yellow triangle appears what despite using different charger what does that means
The process is bit different. But opening is similar. If you are patient, you will be able to do it.There should be some guides from other TH-camrs. Even a screen replacement guide is fine for your reference.
hello hope you can reply back, what if i remove those foil strips that the usb port sticks to the two it has on the sides when you remove it? like i messed those up no longer have the foil aluminum strips . will it still work?
@@DIYGeardo Thanks soo much for the Video, Appreciate it, I however removed the charging port itself using a heat gun, then soldered it back using a solder iron and no additional solder was used. I used heat resistant tape to protect the microphone and other elements close to the charging port, you method is however quicker and less risky, thanks again. :D
Worst tablet ever. I've owned three and all had this same issue. Beware on the newer one you can't replace the port only. You need to replace the whole board. Junk samsung.

How can i find the exact part number for the charging port? Great video btw! Super detailed!
You should go with the model number of your device
Is there any difference with the T387-v version to replace this port

Mi 11 lite 5g ne teardown pls
Will try..
Can I do this too convert my my tab A micro USB port to a usb-c?
i think it is not worth it
@@DIYGeardo well the micro usb-c cable is a lot more reliable then the micro usb and a lot more user friendly, so you think it would work tho?
Even if it does work the frame of the tablet doesn't have the correct shaped hole where the charging port is.
mine didn't turn on wtf
The video is incomplete, you never show it charging lol
Thanks for your feedback.. these are accurate repair steps.

Junk samsung.
You need to replace the charging port board.
@@DIYGeardo I shouldn't have to replace anything if it was made properly in the first place.
