Thanks so much for actually explaining what you're doing. I found a dozen sped up replacements but I couldn't even tell what they were doing. Great work!
Absolutely perfect!!! Wonderful step by step instructions and great camera angles. I just fixed my daughter's tablet and you should just see the smile on her face right now. Thank you for posting this, and I wish you success and happiness. :)
I shattered the screen on my unit of this exact model! You said you would put in a link to buying that heat pad, but I don't see it. I live in the middle of Utah, BTW. Great tips video on repairing, though! NICE!
Hey Jose im trying to replace a samsung galaxy tab a 8.4 2020 is it replaced the same way or is there a difference in replaceing the screens and if there isnt a difference what would the total price of the things that i will need be?
before reapplying the new lcd you need to remove a sticker on the back of the flex cable facing the screen, inbetween flex cable and back of the lcd. the metal plate of the screen acts as a heatsink for the circuit on the back of the flex cable, if it´s not connected to the backside of the lcd it will heat up more quickly and possibly get damaged.
Really, that's something I've not heard anyone comment about in all the lcd screen replacement videos tutorials I've watched through these years since repairing all my own devices, that's extremely important information I feel, thank you.
@@ElohiSilverEarthVentures there usually is a sticker that needs to be removed, i do not know if its always acting as a heat sink. but it surely is a connection to ground in case of a short Circuit. I did repair one device which lower display got hot unevenly very quickly because I did not remove that Sticker, until i removed it. thank you for the thanks, i learned from a youtube video. 😁
Hola José gracias por tu video. La consulta que tengo es si debo comprar la pantalla con frame o sin frame, no entiendo la diferencia! muchas gracias!!
Heyy sir,i need help please reply. My samsung galaxy tab A 8 has a problem, i cant touch it it's not working but i can on and off the tab and it still can charge too. the only problem is the screen,it's not cracked, its the screen just came out of the tab but the screen can return easily to the tab, its not working anymore if you touch it. ON YOURE VIDEO IN 10:32, WHEN U PULL OUT THE SCREEN,THE YELLOW THING got pulled when the screen came out of my tablet,i think that's why its not working,i dont know what to do. sorry for my bad english
Cool. I cracked the screen on mine yesterday, everything still works. Can I replace just the glass layer on top of lcd? I see it is available but I hear its hard to separate just the glass from lcd layer. I just ordered a screen protector for it just to keep it going.
@@MarzNet256 yeah always buy a complete lcd+touch unit when repairing phones/tablets unless it’s older stuff from like 2009. Staring around the iPhone 4 smart devices started doing what’s called a laminated display & that’s exactly what it sounds like. The glass/touch digitiser is glued on to LCD panel so there’s no gap between the two. Makes things thinner & the display looks much better but you need to be a specialist with specialised tools to replace glass only. Watch a video of laminated LCD replacement cos it’s actually pretty skilled
Excellent video, however I need to replace the glass on the tables, the LCD screen is fine, it's just the glass is cracked. Is it possible to just replace the glass???
It will cost more money to replace the glass and is not and easy task I have videos about replacing just a glass , it takes another level th-cam.com/video/oP68NdW3qVY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZrScmSlG4yBgkVkY
of course you can. but the screen is glued to the digitizer and the air bubble inbetween are removed withing a vacuum chamber.. if you dont have one.. i suppose you need to change the lcd-digitizer assembly.
I was unlucky with the two strips of tape behind the battery. They both broke right at the beginning. I ended up using dental floss that I slid behind the top of the battery, then with a saw motion, slowly cut the tape all the way down. Took me 30 minutes but succeeded.
what happens if once you've completed all the steps and the new screen doesn't turn on? What should I look for? I've double and triple checked all the connections.
Anyone... my s pen works on my tab a screen, but my finger only works 50% of the time... any ideas please? Digitizer, touch sensor? Need to replace screen? The screen comes out a lil bit, I think the glue evaporated

Congrats on the successful repair
This is a very good video. However, I would have liked you to test the new screen even before applying any glue, etc.

thank you for excellent video, whats the difference between B7000, B9000, T7000, T9000
i got the t7000, its transparent, hardening white. the b7000 is black.
It comes in different colors
I ordered an lcd ang replaced it. but when i open it up it just gives a short light screen the it goes off. what seems to be the problem there?
Mine too
Same it will not power on only can see charge screen
did you disconnect the battery in advance, check the connectors and cables. did you check the lcd before mounting it?
Hey so what if everything still works fine but just the screen is cracked then what do you do, or should we just pay for it to fixed?
Is just cheaper to replace the whole assembly
@@JoseMoralestech Okay thanks
Great video and explanation
My screen isn't cracked but their are lines across it. Happened after cleaning screen with paper towels. Is it LCD or Digitizer?
Lcd and digitizer come as one single peace
Amazing
Where can I get the screen and tools to do this repair?
eBay or Amazon , make sure to order the same model

I replaced the the screen and did everything right that I can see and the charging port isn't working now.. any suggestions?
reconnect the battery carefully, check for dust and such in the connector.

Hi Thomas. As long as the screen is being replaced you have to remove the battery
