Fourth video by All Things DnD. This was done in collaboration with Not Great Dungeon Crawlers. It is the story of a medieval fantasy tabletop tavern come alive. Who wouldn't want to play DnD in a place like this? Do you like animated DnD stories? Here's the playlist of two of them we have made so far! - th-cam.com/video/2DjtgB0QEYc/w-d-xo.html
I subscribed to your channel for the animated DnD stories and now I see you guys have moved on to posting other DnD stuff too, and that's great. I know at least two players in my party who have wanted to make our DnD table even more medieval than we made it after buying it. But a whole DnD friendly place? I'm sold!
As a GM who also brews beer and is also passionate about mixology, I am planning to rework my game room into a fantasy tavern space to combine my three passions. This is a great inspiration. I have an exposed brick wall for the space which I think will help the look
We wish we could have everyone over to play :) We were happy to make this video for the All Things DnD facebook page, all our content is on our channel here :)
I hope you guys see this, I love this design and project! In fact I want to do something similar for my group. I wanted to ask how exactly you did the walls? Like what paint colors, how many, etc. Any response would be appreciated, thank you! 😄
Soooo that's a tavern that has like everything? Everything I could hope from a medieval tavern? It is so wonderful how you got it all made. We have been thinking about a tavern, a hideout like that but we have never been able to actually plan anything. Kudos to y'all!
Gauri Kavishwar thank you so much :) it was a ton of work to make everything but it’s so worth it to spend our time in there and share our stories with our twitch viewers :)
I don't believe the yellow paint together with sponge was the way to go. It just kinda removes the whole medieval tavern feeling. But I suppose it's fine considering you already have 1 room with browner texture.
Thank you so much! We got them on Amazon :) Battery operated wonders! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BV7D7LW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This looks amazing :D This is sorta what I wanted to do, but hubby wouldn't let me paint the walls or add the stones. But still happy with my game room :)
Fuckin awesome. Given me some ideas lol I've never played DnD unfortunately but I used to play Magic a lot and I'm a Tolkien fan to the point of insanity. So I wanna make my home office/nerd cave look something special. Like I'm entering into my imaginative world every time I go in there. Solid room man.
Wow! I was looking for ideas on how to convert a basement room into a dungeon/medieval theme and you have given me some great ideas! Where did you get the stone wall panels? Those are great!
I just got a closer look at it in the video and it's definitely foam stones that simulate real stones. They are flat one one side so they can be glued to the wall and you just glue them up there in a pattern that looks good to you.

Bought a house recently and I have a room set aside for this! I'll use yours as inspiration, it is beautiful!

You should try designing one! It would be a really wonderful experience. Start from scratch - improvise, adapt and overcome!
So inspiring.

I’m moving into a new house soon and I have a completely blank slate to work with, trying to make my room a big DND themed hideaway.
So cool!
This is amazing! What a good job! Do you have a link to where to buy the lanterns? They're so cool :)

What did you put on the bottom of the wall for the stone effect?
What kinda wood is used on the walls? I'd like to do something similar.

What is the bottom stone made out of?
Can you link the kind of stone you used for the wall please?

where did u get those lights? the lamps hung from the wall
You know you have disposable income when...
Truth xD
Hi! I love it! Is the stone work on the lower walls actually a wallpaper, or something else?
It's probably either a high quality vynyl wallpaper or kitchen accent tile. The kind you would put above your countertop but in between your cabinets.
I just got a closer look at it in the video and it's definitely foam stones that simulate real stones. They are flat one one side so they can be glued to the wall and you just glue them up there in a pattern that looks good to you.
I wonder if doing this all in one night is wise...screw it i made it this far yirbel lives!
So a bar but no ale or whiskey 🤔 cmon guys i know we're vírgíns but put some drinks on the shelves, Glory to Fromsoft and Miyazaki
Wait, what? lol Your Father in Law helped you build the room but your Girlfriend painted? How did your wife help? lol
