Y'all always know how to make me cry! I am so happy you all love the critter friends! I can't wait to be here and watch the stream grow! I love the community and I will never tire of reminding how amazing everyone is!
Thank you so much 🙏❤️ we custom built that table and are really happy with the way it turned out! We're planning on filming some more videos like this in the future, so be on the lookout! 😁
That means so much coming from you 🙏💙 Thank you very much! I'm SO envious of your terrain builds! P.S. I've been watching your videos for a long time on my personal channel! You do some amazing work!
We made them using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator! I found or drew the image I wanted to use, then took it into Photoshop. I turned it black and white, then applied the Dark Strokes and Angle Strokes filters. Remove all "white" space and export as a transparent PNG, then take into illustrator and place on an old paper texture and add the text! The trick is, once you print it, take a lighter and burn the edges to make it look old. You can also dab a little tea on them in some places to add a stain :)
As someone interested in turning my basement into a similar theme... the stone - did you just glue that to the walls with contact adhesive?? Or what exactly are those materials?
The stone was a type of natural stone veneer we found! You definitely don't want to just glue it to the walls. We had to first build an base wall, then screw in concrete backer boards, seal up the joints, and then use mortar to adhere the stone to it. After it's all attached,.you have to apply grout between the stones. If this is something you're interested in doing, I would highly recommend watching some tutorials on installing interior stone veneer! Hope that helps, and thanks for watching 😁
Well, hi! I just found your channel and saw you're in my neck of the woods! Hit the subscribe button as it's nice to have fellow, local gamers. Will be checking out your streams, and hey, game room looks awesome! I just started posting my campaign on TH-cam, although it is currently audio only, but hoping to move to video at some point.
Ohhh, always great to find a fellow southern gamer in the wild! Thank you so much for the sub and for checking us out 🙏❤️ We really appreciate the support! 😁
@@GrechStudios We just found them on Amazon! Just search "battery powered lanterns" and a plethora of options will come up! The ones we got aren't available anymore, but there are several dupes 😁
Do you have the design plans for the table? My crew is currently looking into making our own table and I'm trying to aggregate designs to find what we might like most. Or if no design plans, just some insight as to how you made it and what the challenges were?
We don't have any plans unfortunately 😕 We drew the base design out and then just worked piece by piece until we had it finished. We had to make various changes to the measurements as we went in order to make it fit the space we had. What I can say is that if you have the space, I would recommend making it more square so that all the players are able to better see the battle map. We had to elongate ours to compensate for the number of players and the cameras. We cut all of the pieces for the outer frame to start. We just laid them out in the shape we wanted, marked and cut. Then we measured and cut the MDF for the filler in the middle. We then glued the MDF to the outer frame rails, and then connected them all using 1x6 cross braces underneath. You'll need quite a few tools and some very big clamps for gluing the MDF to the outer frame. The overall material cost was around $350-$400 and the final table size is 10'x7'. Sorry I can't be of more assistance, but we just kinda winged it 😂
Looks like a game room to be proud of. It's obvious that everyone enjoys it.
It was a lot of work over the course of 6 years, and it's still a work in progress. It was so worth it though 🙏
Happy to see an in-depth look at the cottage game room! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for watching, Eindridge 🙏❤️

Thanks so much for watching 🙏 Haha and yes, 20x20 just feels small, I suppose, when you try to cram all of the equipment and people into it 🤣

A lot of work for d&d. Cool.
Thank you 🙏 It was a labor of love. We're very passionate about the game, and wanted to make sure it was reflected in our game space.
