Another lovely tiny…….or slightly bigger……..project to make. Christine I can’t keep up with all these exciting makes………there’s just not enough time in my week and I want to make them all!!! 😜What a lovely privilege to be able to sew with your mum!!
Love your mom. This was a good video and I like you not editing out mistakes. Everyone makes them and it’s more real when you don’t hide them. Hope to see your mom on again soon.
So great to see your good-humored mom back to be a Yotube star! You both seem like genuinely kind people, besides being talented at sewing and teaching.
I thought I recognized your mother's accent. My grandparents didn't speak English until they were 12 & 19 respectfully, and my friends mothers were from Germany. My mother's family were Norwegian, and would only speak English in public. I had quite the vocabulary before I started school. 😅❤ You are blessed to have a mum to do things with.😊❤
There are a lot of crafters that don't sew but do use scissors: people who knit, hook, needle point, paper crafters (our how you call that 😀) make beaded jewelry...
Love you both. I needed to make a couple of these! I put my tab on upside down and had to take it off and fix it HA HA HA. Take care ladies. Look forward to seeing your next project!
And she's back! How lovely to see you both - so pleased that your Mum was willing to be a TH-cam star again! Great project - another to add to my ever-increasing list! I hope Mum was able to find lots of lovely pieces of fabric from the lots that you showed the other day. Look after each other. Mums are the best! Thanks 😍
Lovely to see your Mum again Christine and all those rings on her fingers haha. You may not want to make and sell the scissor ✂ pouches for your shop, but a small one would be an ideal gift to make for a friend who knits or crotchets 🧶🪡🧵Once again I'm in catch-up mode but so much to look forward to 😉Greetings to you all from (at last) a sunny England 🌞
I love it!❤ It is so wonderful seeing you and your mother spending time together. Love the scissors keeper. ✂️ Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful moment with your mother. Blessings to you both. 😊
Wonderful, I was looking for an easy-to-understand tutorial on making a scissor storage bag, your tutorial is wonderful, and your Mama is very charming. I am German living in the UK since 1997, and I hear an accent when your Mama is talking, it is lovely.
Hannah is so lovely, i used to work with my daughter in the retail sewing industry it was such a pleasure. You make a great duo. Great project! Thanks to you both.😊
You and your mum are soooo adorable! Your technique for sewing the tabs is so efficient and perfect! Lastly, I love your mum's comment, "You did that." about your little error 😊
Delightful to see your mum again! Miss doing crafts with mine. It’s great you share. Love the little scissors case,I’ll be making a few of these.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I missed giving them to you Mrs M. The larger one will actually fit two pairs quite comfortably, but an easy way to figure it out is to place your square on point, put scissors over the top, then fold a flap down. 😀
This was a lovely video seeing both of you working together. These scissor pouches would make a really great gift for a sewer. Christmas... Mothers day. I think you could sell them. Hugs Diane.
That's so lovely that you share this love of sewing❤great video too I'm definately going to make one for my scissors as I'm always putting them in something totally unsuitable 😂
German by birth Viddy, but yes, we are Aussies too. The machine is ProSew from Adam at Port McQuarie. I turn the sound down through most of the sewing though. I did a video review on this machine several months ago😀
Sew right next to the edge Andrew. If the fabric doesn't line up perfectly, it won't matter as most of the bulk is away from the seam. Some of my stitching was a little wonky too😀
Christine, I've been following your for quite some time, I absolutely enjoy making the items you do tutorials on. I must say that your accent is beautiful but I noticed Mum's accent is a little different than yours. Would you and your precious Mum's consider doing a "chat" TH-cam telling plain Americans (with no accent) where your accents originate from. Please know there is no disrespect meant, just that in Midwest US we really don't have any accents. Gwen
haha, I had to laugh when you said you didn't have an accent Gwen. I bet if you came here, you'd have one compared to us Aussies. We came from Germany when I was 4, and as I started school here and learned to speak English, I lost the German accent very quickly. Mum was already in her late twenties, so had her German accent well established😀
Christine can you help plz I'd like a pencil case about 14in long and 8inch deep as friend want to put stuff in and needs itdeep and lined and a pocket out side how on earth can I make. it plz can you help me
lol if i was to make scissor holders ,this is about how many i would have to make 🪡🪡🪡🪡👝👝✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂✂ lol🪡🪡 i think i need to declutter them don'🥰😁t you lol
If you enjoyed this video & feel like giving something back to the channel, you can do that here..... www.buymeacoffee.com/stitchthisr
I will make a decorative string used to wear the scissors around my neck . Thanks for the tutorial, your Mom is a sweetie pie.
That's a great idea Lucille😀
Someone who DOESN'T sew could buy one as a GIFT for a person who DOES sew....🧐😉 So nice to see your mother again.
That's a good idea. I always forget other crafters might enjoy them too😁
what fun. Mom looks too young for a 60 yo daughter. Sweet project.
Hopefully I'll be so fortunate when I have 60 year old sons😀
Another lovely tiny…….or slightly bigger……..project to make. Christine I can’t keep up with all these exciting makes………there’s just not enough time in my week and I want to make them all!!! 😜What a lovely privilege to be able to sew with your mum!!
I know, right? I’ve made some of these projects but still work full time…but I wanna try them all!
Thanks Margie. I wish I had more time too. So many more projects to do😀
You’re so entertaining together.
It’s wonderful to hear the giggles.
haha, thanks Christine. We had loads of fun😀
Love your mom. This was a good video and I like you not editing out mistakes. Everyone makes them and it’s more real when you don’t hide them. Hope to see your mom on again soon.
And it's good to see how to fix the mistakes.
Thanks Valierie. We make plenty of mistakes, and have fun doing them😀
How lovely to see mother and daughter collaborating on this very practical project. 👍
Thanks KB. We had great fun😀
So great to see your good-humored mom back to be a Yotube star! You both seem like genuinely kind people, besides being talented at sewing and teaching.
Thank you so much😀
They can still make nice gifts for people who do sew.
They certainly can Dan. I didn't even consider knitters, embroiderers etc😀
"YOU did that!" Oh Hannah, you're a gem!
Love you both and so fun watching you two together.
Hugs from Nevada,
Cathy❤
Thanks Cathy. We had loads of fun and laughs making this😀

Thanks May. I think I'd need about twenty!😀
It's so nice to see your beautiful mum again, Christine. Hugs to you both 🩷🌷
Thanks so much Leah😀
Love watching you two together. Made me giggle. ❤️. Cute little pouch I’d like to make one that would hang on my machine whilst I’m sewing. 😉
We had loads of giggles too Christine😀
Such a fun video with you and your Mom! I love the scissor holders! I want to make one just to keep my scissors covered and away from my pets.
Thanks Julie. We had a lot of fun together😀
I thought I recognized your mother's accent. My grandparents didn't speak English until they were 12 & 19 respectfully, and my friends mothers were from Germany. Thanks Sharon. We had a fun day together😀

You're so right Katrien. I didn't even consider other crafters😀
The little one is interesting (is always the one I seem to put somewhere and don't see right away when looking 🤭

Thanks Dee. Mum picked out loads of great fabric😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs Good for her. I'm now interested in what she might make with them! 😀Hopefully we can see her again soon

Hi Mum.
Hi Doris😀
Great to see you both seeing together. Did i miss how you work out measurements based on the length of the scissor?🤗🇬🇧
I missed giving them to you Mrs M. The larger one will actually fit two pairs quite comfortably, but an easy way to figure it out is to place your square on point, put scissors over the top, then fold a flap down. 😀

I needed this pattern Thankyou. Could you tell me the make and model of your lovely quiet machine please? Great Duo❤ are you Australian like me?
German by birth Viddy, but yes, we are Aussies too. The machine is ProSew from Adam at Port McQuarie. I turn the sound down through most of the sewing though. I did a video review on this machine several months ago😀
Hallo aus dem Land der Schultüten 😊
Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland.
Andrea
Hi Andrea. I've always wished I had experienced the first day of school in Germany😁
When you say sew along the edge of the interfacing do you actually mean on the interfacing or just outside it?
Sew right next to the edge Andrew. If the fabric doesn't line up perfectly, it won't matter as most of the bulk is away from the seam. Some of my stitching was a little wonky too😀
