    If your wacoms backlight dies, its due to a design flaw in the 24HD and over which still use CCFLs, it can cause some of the 6 CCFLs to prematurely die, and if even one fails, none will start. I made a guide on repairing it if interested. th-cam.com/video/-PdwNZMxbiA/w-d-xo.html&lc

    That's the classic pen. The Pro Pen 2 doesn't work with the old DTK digitiser.
    I also have a 24HD with a classic pen.

      Tech Summit Ah, nevertheless great review. This tablet is kinda like the 27hd as far as angle adjustability.

    the input lag... tell me your poor laptop on win10 is bloated, I'm hesitating if I throw 400€ into one or really have to give up.

    that's not the pro pen, dude, you shouldn't include inaccurate info on your video or at the very least address it so that people don't buy an incompatible product trusting your review, and if that wasn't problematic enough it doesn't even has the pressure levels you say. If you want to be a reputable tech reviewer you should do the work, not half ass it.

    Hi, are you positive, that I can use Pro Pen 2 on this old model!? Wacom said (I also saw from other reviews) that the new pen doesen't work on older models!

      10x for the answer guys, but I see that the pen you use doesen't look like the Pro Pen 2. Or am I missing something? Heres how the PP2 looks: www.webantics.com/content/images/thumbs/008/0083660_wacom-pro-pen-2-for-intuos-pro.jpeg

      I just bought this tablet and I'm also curious about your use of the Pro Pen 2 on an older model Cintiq. Have you compared it to the stylus that comes with it by default and is there a noticeable difference? It's really tempting to buy one for my 24HD, but with nowhere else saying it works on older models, specifically Wacom, I'm really hesitant. Thank you for a great video!

      Shayna Fairbanks do not work i have a mobile studio pro 16 and the propen 2 that came with it doesn't work on my cintiq24hd gives a message that this pen is not compatible with the device. However the older artpen that i use on the cintiq24hd also works on the msp16 .my intuos 3 pen do not work on the cintiq24hd nor the msp16 if interested.hope it helps...the pen in this video looks like a classic propen pen...it is not the propen2

      looks like the classic art pen (slimmer intuos pen) since it doesn't look like it has the wide middle and the metal accent on the two buttons on the pen.

    Saw one of these in the second hand tech store. It weighs a TON, as in heavy as a 32inch CRT TV. You won't want to drag this into an apt without a handtruck. It's resolution is too low for me also. HOwever, it's support structure is worth the weight. It's one of the best and most adjustable I've ever seen. THe build on this is serious.

    • @keira_ean
      @keira_ean 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      maybe you should consider the new Cintiq 22inch from Wacom, it already come with propen 2 which is the newest one

    Great work! it's huge. XP-Pen is another brand that has tablets very similar in specs and price to Wacom . I have the XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro 24" , and it not only has the shortcut buttons and jog dial, which are extremely useful, it also has a resolution of 2560 X 1440 screen. Ever since switching to a bonded screen, I will never get one without it. so I would recommend Artist 24 Pro over the Wacom cintiq pro 24 , and other Wacoms unless money is really no object.
