I just wanted to comment to say how phenomenal your channel is. I really love your smooth delivery and lack of chatter. As fun as the table talk is, being able to grind out a whole game this quickly and understand everything happening is really nice and let's the viewer digest the decks and understand them. At least IMHO. Also, the recaps at the end are fantastic. Fast or slow chair, idc either way 😂
Honestly I've been getting so tired of watching table talk on EDH channels lately, where all the videos are at least 45 min and have lots of bad jokes and relentless chatter. Muddstah's channel has been like therapy. Just straight, no-nonsense, chill, and to the point. Love it.
It looks like the incarnation Technique results in some skitterbeam battalion copies, but the Etb trigger specifies "if it was cast" so they would be created. No impact on the game, just something to look out for.
At 14:19 you used Otharion to respond to the smoke bomb, but Otharion is a sorcery speed ability, so you couldn't have used it at sorcery speed! I don't know if you caught it after the game, but I wanted to point it out here.
i liked the soul bind interaction with the master multiplied. didnt realize ur token has a soulbound ability. if the tokens dont have soul bound tho.... the only way for you to retarget soul bound is if one of the paired creatures died
I played the Dungeons & Dragons Commander draft back in April (I think) and I drafted a Jan Jansen deck which included Gut (True Soul Zealot), Ellyn Harbreeze (Busybody), and Ancient Copper Dragon. I did not win, but it was quite fun.
For Ygra, you should be running disciple of the vault. That way when you are blowing up the board you can ping people. That and run some fogs, moments peace is a great one.
Looking at the Jan Jansen list, are the prototypes literally there just for the Capitoline Triad? Lmao, funny idea I feel like you could make the prototypes make a little more sense if there was a blink package in there. Blink does work with Jan Jansen as protection + untapping, and we have a bunch of other useful ETBs to flicker too
As you do awesome French pronunciations I am here to correct the "Jan Jansen" one. It's Ian Iamsen. J in this case has the I sound because it's German "inspired".
If the players are not bothered by it and keep playing in the playgroup they are bound to have mistakes go their way too, the only issue is when you only play to win and not to spin the cards and have fun

Im 100% with you on that analyze Kyllanburt994
16:46 Peak editing moment, should have said Max scoops it up at least 30 more times for lore accuracy!

Good catch! Thank you for pointing that out.
Skitterbeam battalion only triggers if it was cast doesnt change outcome but important to remember if a deck has reanimation

13:00 So, uh, the copy of Phalanx? Which was made by the ability of the original Phalanx? It loses Soulbond, it can't bond with Orthion.

I wouldn't have Jan Jansen summoning sickness when Maximus activates it in Ian's end step or what am I missing?
Jan Jansen has haste.
Where did maximus get those tokens? Those are super sweet with the spindown
The deck link for the master is linked to Jan Jansen
Fixed! Thank you for pointing that out.
The prototype cards held jan jansen back.
Ygra doing well! I definitely wanna build it ❤️😍

I think so! I believe the Triad is Max's secret commander.
Is Maximus using a treasure spindown card? I've never seen that, just stacks of dice
He made it himself I believe.
I have a Jan Jan deck and a master deck
Beyond different play style!
The ultimate glass canon deck and the board state grind 😂
Cool decks
The Andrew, Multiplied.
Great Master Multi Game
Gzhen-Gzhen Sen sounds so wrong, dude's a Nordic polar explorer or smth for sure.

@@ishimarumakot0 that’s super helpful, thank you for letting me know!
I thought it was Dutch-inspired, like "Yawn Yawnsen".
It’s “Yawn Yawnson” if you play Baldur’s Gate 2 he pronounces his name as one of his character quotes
I'm glad your ankle is better, but don't hurt it again spinning around so fast!!
5243 Abbott Prairie
Garfield, Eater of Lasagna
“otharian” bruh where is the A in Orthion’s name
Gave card Conduit a $300 Lilian they gave me 100

The token copies of Phalanx lose Soulbond, so shouldnt have as many tokens
They would pair up with the Master tokens, at least that's how we played it?
That was a lot of multiplication
First
God Obeka is such lazy card design. One of my least favorite legends of the last few years.
Jan Jansen Jan Jansen Jan Jansen Jan Jansen
You can only activate Orthion at sorcery speed.
You guys really need a judge to observe your games to avoid basic misplays :(
It happens bro, it’s bound to occur with a game as complicated at magic. Unfortunately todays game was affected by it but that doesn’t always happen
If the players are not bothered by it and keep playing in the playgroup they are bound to have mistakes go their way too, the only issue is when you only play to win and not to spin the cards and have fun
@TroochiTCG If you know any in the Ottawa area, let me know!
Jan Jansen can't sacrifice a zombie token because it's not artifact creature.
The one that I saw was when Ygra was out which would make them Food Artifacts in addition to their other types
Because Ygra is out, it's a food artifact, so it can.
