Hi, Dan Taylor..., What I have learned about my SquareOff Neo is..., when a chess piece is taken..., don't leave a chess piece on the side of the chessboard. * It is ( best ) to place the taken chess piece completely ( off ) the chessboard. You will have fewer problems and less clutter... "Semper Fi" Mike in Montana P.S: Viewer and "Subscriber"... :)

I have a chessnut air and although this moving mech is cool I would rate the gameplay and user interface so much better with the chessnut board from what I see. Would be great to see them side by side

I love that board. Been using mine everyday since release Playing with it in my lap on the couch lol. Returned the dgt Pegasus in favor of it. Full piece recognition is a must.

The Neo Z seems better then previous bords Its much faster, better movements...etc.

So the neo z is apparently the neo with zero battery, so it always has to be plugged in. The version I had was the regular neo, so I could play with it unplugged running on battery

Oh geez man, you may want to raise an alert with the company on this. That seems like a bit of a long wait, depending on where you ordered from.

I really dont like this board, i wish it were better. I ordered a chessnut pro instead
