Dan, does Maryland still have public service advertisements in the media about not littering? I remember as a kid there were lots of ads on tv about not polluting. Here in TX there used to be a well-known anti-litter effort called "Don't Mess With Texas", but we never hear about it anymore. I think it's resulted in people not growing up with that messaging. Our roads down here are so trashy, they look like a 3rd world country - sad.

Colorado banned plastic grocery bags. Have to use reuseable bags. Like Aldi's store.

I can't believe how much garbage washed up onto the shore. I seen some pictures they're on Facebook of them feeling dumpsters too I'm still amazed with how much trash there was there. Thank you to you and everyone else down there who came out and brave the heat to get all that mess cleaned up down there.

We appreciate what you do. I used to walk with a bucket every week on the road I live on . I can't do it anymore due to age and health. People that throw trash out do not have respect for nature or others.

Lovely area along the river, awful to see that fly tip. I can’t get my head round the mentality of some people. Let’s go out for the day to a beautiful scenic area and then leave all our rubbish to spoil it for the next person.

hi dan. thank you for everything you do. i grew up in timonium and i know maryland can be a dirty mess. i see people throw shit out of their car all the time.

that post looks like the cross piece to an old telephone/power pole, the glass insulators fit on the short dowls, couldnt tell for sure.

I don’t get it either. I have to take deep, conscious breaths sometimes when I’m picking up litter, because I just get angry. Trashholes are what my husband and I call them. It sounds harsher than “litterbugs”.
