    I have a 22 and I have tried to fix the spring BS with it. 2 sets of hardware stock. Then I modified the stand with a full through bolt using a nyloc nut. The nut shot off in the garage spitting the spring and bracket off again. Might try thread locker and a nut, but considering this stand. I had one on my 06 bike and I like it, but it had multiple mounting locations. With this version only have one. AFter a year of use how are you liking this?

    How did the kickstand hold up? My Bs kickstand mounting point broke on my 18’ TE 300, so I’m in the same boat as you

      Still have the loose kickstand problem. Ktm was so super making one bolt design

    The new redesigned D/E model is much better design. Buy a 2022 EC 300 tpi GasGas for 11k and then dump another $600- $1000 to get it to Yamaha quality. $175 for new kickstand(that hurt). $ 100? for new muffler with spark arrestor, Hand guards, skid plate, LED headlight to replace the headlamp as bright as my night light in my hallway. idle air screw mod. ECU reprogram to give the engine enough lubrication and optimum air/fuel mixture. I still absolutely love the bike. Hopefully the all new 2024 models are more thought out.

      Except Yamaha doesn't have anything to be competitive with in the 300 2-stroke segment 😳. Nothing

      I have the EX version. No issues and none of that ECU map or idle mod stuff. Runs great at likely 60ish hrs. Don't really need lights, so none of that Just few guards that you'd put on any bike and a rear spring. No spark arrester yet. Not necessary where I ride the majority of the time. Looking at the spanish fly racing turbine core end cap for my stock pipe. The 24 models are super nice.

    Just checking in are you 100 % after your back injury ? Racing days, bikes are over ? Miss your laps...

      No my back is not 100%. It's a lingering chronic problem that I deal with and have preventive measures to avoid the backaches.

    Did the kickstand stay still or does it still loosen and wobble?

      The problem is from when I broke the OEM kickstand at the bolt tab. The square thread tab snapped off which would prevent the kickstand from moving. I solved my problem by inserting a spacer between frame and kickstand so it can't move.
