umm no I'm pretty sure it's the first (because what if only one horse crosses and finishes first). I'll re-check but I'm pretty sure Unless you get a card.
I think it's because they're so close in theme one will stand out as the "pick" when reaching for a horse racing game. Ready Set Bet exudes fun, supports numerous players, and creates a party-esque atmosphere. Even though some may find Long Shot a better game it's a more think and slow game. When people picture horse racing Ready Set Bet is just better at creating that atmosphere. It's kind of sad that they both essentially released within weeks of each other (retail).

@@UnfilteredGamer Just double checked the rule book. You are able to bet until a third horse crosses the red line, or one horse passes the finish.
