I honestly found it a bit distracting but it wasn't that big of a deal. I was shocked when I saw this upload! Always get excited when I see a GaRan video, I hope ya look at Ascent next! \o/
It's very good, it gives context to the movement so it's not just "Oh cool zoomed through that room" it's "zoomed through that room to do this" and the viewer has a vague idea as to what the movement is gonna be, leaving the only surprise to be how it's done. So you can focus more on that over "Oh it's going this way" because the map already told you that.
This was amazing to watch, I remember programming the ship pop up message and theorizing with DMan over whether or not it was skippable, very cool to see it in practice
I honestly think this hack needs a Good Ending where Samus actually survives the infection, but the Space Pirates still manage to get enough DNA for clones.
Never really thought about Metroid having a Shadow the Hedgehog plot, but this is really cool. Thanks for the TAS, always a treat to see these videos of creative hacks. I can see you put a lot of effort in the presentation, so take your time :)
@@ClaireDiVODer Both are required! The 1st one is for Energy Tank, which you can see there are Crumble-blocks at the exit (so I cannot take it the other way!)
To get the very item you want, you need to do diagonal shine spark, which is the way to get without any glitch. From bottom right door, charge the shine spark. Then, do diagonal shine spark from the iconic spot. You can do diagonal shine spark by pressing diagonal shoot up(originally L) before shine spark.

The next room requires to destroy all robots, if I haven’t turn on Ice beam, it would take 2 shots to kill a robot :)

That save has special behavior for when you respawn at it, you actually spawn in a different room in the same map location
To add what McCad said, you need those warps to progress the game.
