I feel like people are way too fuckin hard on this game for as well as it (at the time anyway) did the Castlevania formula in 3D. Yeah it wasn't perfect, like the overly generous window of time you had to pull off guarding or the ridiculous way Leon just suddenly defied gravity when pulling off a mid-air combo were polarizing. But, even with the imperfections considered, Lament of Innocence was a pretty solid installment to the series. I still like to run through it every October for Halloween. Leon was a pretty cool start to the Belmont lineage, and I got verbally excited when I saw how the Netflix series actually paid attention to the series chronology and acknowledged his existence, that was a really nice touch.
@Axelander9999 it's not a rip.-off, it's taking a good idea and making it sweet. As far as I know this game also as big boss battles, the only diference is that you don't climb into them but still. Also, in God of War 3 you do almost the same thing...
@brunobb1 I don't know about that. Personally, I don't think that any of them represent in any way or another a rip-off. The only thing that kinda disturbed could be the Ice guy Boss from Lords of Shadow. Now that could be a rip-off of Shadow of The Colossus
@brunobb1 Because if some one doesnt know about something but he think he does more and more people think that way ... Anyway you are right 100% Lord of shadow is not a rip off from God of War it just can't be ..
@Axelander9999 devil may cry what? this looks like devil may cry? thats not the point, the point is that people claim LOS to be a GOD OF WAR ripoff...-.- but God of War is a DMC and a CV ripoff (CV created the action/adventure genre and the hack and slash genre with it's n64 games and the whip concept)

This is quite a good game.As for getting a copy. You can get it second hand.
But there are other ways.
