Little pricey but you have cheap flights and trains all over Europe. Here back home airfare is insane. Use to be able to fly from Chicago to any city on both coasts for $300. Now it's $900

Very important thing about living in Europe, is we have a lot of free fully paid days in our work. Like in Poland its 26 days when youre working full time job. Mixing these 26 days with national holidays will give you a lot of free time, you can spend on travelling.

I can definitely relate. Whenever I leave Poland and have to pay in euros I feel the sticker shock. I was just visiting Italy and in comparison in Poland, I feel I get much better value for the money spent on food, hotels, and most travel experiences. I always love to travel but I appreciate it even more when I am back home in Warsaw.

I know there are some countries that are richer than Poland. But there’s something about Poland that is very attractive. Poland has seduced some great people from other countries over the centuries before. I know I’m biased because I’m Polish. I have lived richly in America for 37 years and now I live in Poland. I’ve been to the richest countries but I have to tell you, a day spent outside of Poland for me now, is a day wasted. There’s so much to see and experience and ponder… My American wife who lives with me in Poland once told me I was lucky to have been born Polish. I agree.
