Turo host here, for every dollar u make on turo, you NET 30 cents on avg, after all expenses and taxes. I have yet to find a turo video on YT that actually shows NET + or - numbers

Yea my highest margin was about 60% during peak times but if your in a area that has slow seasons you may not always get the margin you want.

@carrentalcoach I'm in Canada and its ok, July was 59% Margin, August looking to be 50%. We have incentives from Turo to do free Airport delivery which helps a bit.

I was a host 3 years ago. Went well. Had an extra car just sitting. Now, in today's economy, I question if this is a recession proof biz. Or, will it do well in a recession? Note: I live in a big city that is a semi-popular vacation destination. Thoughts?

I think as long as you have an economy car and are not over extending yourself with a large car payment you can do well!
