@angelfonseca52 Each car is rented for about 2 weeks in each month. We've made enough to cover the car payments. High end vehicle renters want ski racks, AWD and window scrapers.

If focus makes the most profit ratio wise wouldn’t it make sense to only rent focuses? Low maintenance costs always rented?

I bought the minimum protection before confirming with my insurance about coverage- my insurance covers 100%. Now Turo won’t let me modify or cancel the protection. I feel like I just been duped $133
When you say prpfit do you allow for depreciation?
Usually Mercedez requires premium gas, so how do you make sure that renters refuel with premium gas.
Some of your cars are over the 12 year limit. How do you get them on the platform?
HIii! I love ur vid!!! I wanted to start a car rental business but I found there are more than 15 hosts in 1miles around and they are all below 50trips...does that mean the market is saturated?... I'm super worried about financing a car but no one is booking it....

most of your cars you aim to make back the cost of them in 4-5 months? Given that your merc is 42-43/day, that would equate to 42x30x5 = 6300-20% and it's currently available for the next 3 days, seems more like 6-8 months, but still good.

I ❤ Turo. I rent something on every vacation and weekend get away. Usually a current model of a RX, navigator, Tahoe Denali, etc.

For a car that’s new to turo yes but as long as it’s less than 12 years old by the time of your first trip then it doesn’t matter after thar
Great video , my fleet division consists of 5 ford focus ...2008 , 2009 ,2010 and (2) 2011 they have reliable and top perfomers i hardly see them . They are extremely bullet proof !!

@@chistianjoshua9498has to be no more than 12 years old at time of posting. So their older cars were posted in previous years (2020,2021, etc)..
2nd gen focus are cult classic in the making . Anything after 12 are not good.

I thought vehicles aren’t suppose to be are t suppose to be more than 12 years old? How did you manage to have a 2009 in there?
Question: Turo has age limits on cars ( And mileage limit of 130000). How is it that you're able to rent these cars that are so old? Or is this simply an older video recycled?
I'm very confused too, turo didn't let me list my 2014 car because it had more than 140k miles. This was in 2019
I think Turo doesn't care as long as it qualifies from the beginning...pretty wierd

They are really expensive, compared to economy cars. They like to pay around 6k per car, that will buy you a 2009 Honda Civic with 150k miles

I love your channel and you normally provide solid content. However I'm sorry I can't let you continue feeding these viewers lies. A 2012 ford focus is by far one of the worst vehicles a host could ever purchase. Those vehicles are notorious for transmission issues, including the fusion, edge and escape. Also I know plenty of host who have listed a 2015 Lexus ES 350 and have literally returned their full investment in less than 6 months. So it may be the location where you are at vs where we are at that may be the difference, however I think a Lexus ES 350 is one of the most reliable cars on the market and has a demand for most renters.
Those double clutches fail all the time. A buddy of mine had two of them replaced under warranty by 120k miles
This is how well her fleet has done. That doesn't mean everyone's vehicle will do the same. That doesn't make it lies.
